Science in Industry Research Centre (SIRC) is an ERDF funded project that supports companies in the West Midlands to develop new science based products. Eligible applicants benefit from initial fully-funded support to refine their product concept and its development requirements (typically a minimum of 12 hours' support from SIRC specialist staff).
The Contract will be awarded to two providers should they be suitable for the requirement following evaluation.
The University is looking to purchase various consumable items to support ongoing research through the ERDF project SIRC. Consumables will support several research projects including biotechnology, polymers and life sciences. Examples of the type of consumables required include (but are not limited to):

This contract shall cover all boiler plant throughout the University Estate. The required service comprises annual cleaning of boilers, cleaning of flue-ways and smoke stacks and servicing of burners, together with an emergency call-out facility for repairs and breakdowns.
All work shall be carried out in strict accordance with the Specification and in compliance with the requirements of the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 (GSIUR) as amended, BS6891:2015 and all other relevant current standards.
The required Services shall include the provision of:
a) Initial survey and setting-up of systems
b) Cyclical maintenance
c) General repairs
d) Call-out provision for repairs and breakdowns
e) Upgrades, Replacements and New Installations
f) Records of Work, Test & Inspection Certificates and reports.
Tenderers are required to:
• Be Gas Safe Registered.
• Hold an accredited independent third party certificate of compliance with ISO 45001 (previously BS OHSAS 18001)/ a relevant Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) certificate which includes Construction Contractor, Principal Contractor, and non-Construction as part of the SSIP audit.
• Be a member of the Building Engineering Services Association (or EU Equivalent).
• Confirm that they can be on site within 1 hour of receiving an emergency call-out request.
• Confirm that all engineers who will be involved in delivering the contract have minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant subject and are suitably experienced.

The Film and Digital Programme Manager will provide Arts Connect and the creative and cultural sector in the West Midlands region with a Film and Digital Media Development Programme that supports their work with children and young people.
Our aim is that through this programme the creative and cultural sector in the West Midlands are confident in developing ambitious new creative approaches to their work with film and digital media with children and young people.
We want to engage a supplier who can provide high quality, creatively ambitious film and digital media knowledge and expertise that will inform the development of a support programme for arts and cultural sector learning and engagement professionals.
The supplier will be creatively ambitious for their work and comfortable in a leadership role. They will have good communications skills and experience of working in and developing partnerships. They will be able to demonstrate a track record of leading digital development in the sector and successful delivery of support programmes for those with limited knowledge of film and digital media and for those with in depth knowledge and experience.
Commission Budget
The budget for this study has been set at a maximum of £22,100 excluding VAT, this includes travel expenses.
Mandatory Requirements
There are a number of Mandatory Requirements as part of this tender process, Tenderers must have/meet all mandatory requirements in order to bid for this tender. These are detailed in the Scoring Methodology documentation are scored on a Pass/Fail basis.
Contract Duration
The term of the Contract shall be for a period of one (1) year commencing 1st April 2022 with an optional extension of up to an additional 36 months.

Details of Provision Required
The goal of this tender is to obtain a suitable internet, network and telephony provision from a Service Provider that is fit to meet the needs of staff and tenants at the University of Wolverhampton Science Park (UoWSP) by way of offering like for like provisions delivered by our current provider (and single onsite/in-house network technician) while also improving on any provision areas that have seen market development since the start of the previous contract (2015). There will also be the potential that the sister site will also look to onboard the chosen solution dependant on its offering, The e-Innovation Centre (EIC) and Business & Technology Centre (BTC) in Telford is currently serviced by a simple dedicated Virgin Media line with self-managed network and telephony provisions managed by our two onsite/in-house network technicians.
Project Aims and Objectives
To secure a quality, reliable and cost-effective provision of internet and telephony services for both site operation and tenant needs to meet the demands of each site individually, with the potential to award a combined contract to provide economies of scale. Minimal downtime to be experienced in any swap over of service providers.
The contract will be split into the Lots stated below, Tenderers can apply for Lot 1, Lot 2, or Lots 1 & 2 combined. However, the University reserves the right not to award a contract for Lot 2.
Lot 1: Tenant Network & Telephony Services UoWSP.

Contract Duration
