Tyne and Wear are looking to procure water rescue drysuits PPE for specialist appliances in Service that are trained to a Module 3 and 4, SwiftWater and Flood Technician/ SwiftWater and Flood Boat Operator as defined by DEFRA Con Ops 2019.

Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service (TWFRS) are requesting quotations from suitably qualified and experienced suppliers to provide a waste and recycling collection and disposal service at 10 locations.

TWFRS require a Safety Information System to be used in their Fire Safety Department.

The provision of Safety Spectacles to BS EN116 and BA Inserts to CS39.

The contract is for an End Point Assessment Organisation for the Level 3 Operational Firefighter apprenticeship standard provision within TWFRS. The purpose is to provide an End Point Assessment for the Level 3 Operational Firefighter apprentices, the provider will offer and be available to support apprentices approaching their End Point Assessment. TWFRS have started to deliver the Level 3 Operational Firefighter apprenticeship standard as an employer-provider. Therefore TWFRS now require an End Point Assessment Organisation to complete the final assessment of apprentices at the end point. This will follow the assessment plan for the apprenticeship standard.

The window cleaning of eleven locations (detailed separately) are broken down into one cleaning specification. The cleaning specification amounts to a comprehensive cleaning service of all internal and external outward facing windows, frames and sills and all Up & Over door frames, panels, windows and entrance door lighting.

Manufacture and supply range of Printed Documents

The Contractor will undertake 100% inspection and testing (as far as reasonably practicable as defined in EaWR 1989) of the fixed wiring installation for the specific premises. Test all electrical equipment from incoming source to final point of usage generally in accordance with BS7671:2018 and IET Guidance Note 3, this will include electrical equipment that is part of the fixed electrical installation, i.e. lighting & small power, supplies to fixed equipment, low voltage cables emanating from Substations, where applicable, MCCs and Control Panels.

TWFRS have a requirement to purchase OSB Sheet Timber to burn in our Fire Behaviour Training Units.

The primary objective of the Contract is to undertake the Annual cleaning and maintenance of the road, training yard, general surface water drainage systems, and all foul water drainage systems, up to designated site boundaries at 11 locations (may be subject to change during contract period).
