To comply with health and safety requirements and British standards, Trust wishes to employ a suitable contractor to provide cyclical annual maintenance, as well as a reactive repairs service, to fire systems and associated equipment. The equipment comprises fire alarm and detector systems, emergency lighting systems, smoke ventilation systems, sprinkler systems and dry risers.
The equipment is predominately located at sheltered & retirement housing developments throughout Scotland including the Highlands and Outer Hebrides. There is also a number of general needs & mid-market sites that are unstaffed. Trust Housing also have offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow & Wishaw which will be part of the servicing regime. An overview of the type of equipment including makes and models at each development location in included within Appendix D – Pricing Schedule.

Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and Remedial Repair Works - AS-24-176
To comply with cyclical appliance asset management, Trust wishes to engage a suitable contractor to provide electrical installation condition reports (EICRs), as well as a remedial repair work, to sheltered housing developments located throughout Scotland.
A detailed technical description of the service required is provided in the attached Appendix G – Specification of Requirements. An overview of the property addresses requiring EICRs including the date of the most recent report and recommended renewal date is provided in the attached Appendix E – Price Schedule.
Responsive Repairs, Void Property Works and Out of Hours Emergency Works
The works will consist of All-Trades reactive repairs including out of hours emergencies covering 365 days per year and 24/7 in-day and out of hours reactive repairs to properties and common areas at various sites. The contract covers two geographical Lots:
Lot 1 Edinburgh, Lothians and Scottish Borders
Lot 2 Fife, Angus and Perth & Kinross
Responsive Repairs, Void Property Works and Out of Hours Emergency Works - Central and West of Scotland
The works will consist of All-Trades reactive repairs including out of hours emergencies covering 365 days per year and 24/7 in-day and out of hours reactive repairs to properties and common areas at various sites. The contract covers 2,034 properties in Central and West of Scotland.
Trust is seeking to appoint contractors to provide grounds maintenance services to sheltered housing development locations throughout mainland Scotland. The grounds maintenance services will include works on grassed areas, shrubs, hedges, trees, hard landscaped areas, gravel areas as well as litter and leaf removal.
Warden Call, Smoke Alarm and Doors - Maintenance and Reactive Repairs
Provision of a pre-planned maintenance service and reactive repair callout service for warden call equipment, domestic heat / smoke / carbon monoxide detectors, and automatic doors at Trust Housing developments
