This allows the monitoring of marine aids to navigation in the waters of England, Wales, the Channel Islands and Gibraltar. Each monitored site/station utilises out-station telemetry units, which enables the remote operation of the fixed navigational aid and allows for observations for reliability and performance.
Futures Afloat is a project that includes the replacement of Trinity House’s ageing multi-functional buoy handling tenders (MFTs). the scope of this procurement includes the construction of modern multi-function buoy handling tenders that will replace THV Patricia as a priority and subsequently THV Galatea.
