Synopsis & Brief - In microwave processing technologies, it is fundamental to measure the magnitude and phase of refection coefficient (Input, reflected and absorbed power at defined frequency). An autotuner is a high-power automatic impedance analyzer and matching system that integrates an Analyzer and a motorized three-stub tuner (mototuner) in one compact unit. The Mototuner uses the data measured by the Analyzer to provide a predictive automatic impedance matching of time-varying loads and dielectric properties in microwave heating. It is difficult to measure phase of refection coefficient for continuous wave and pulsed generator power forms- specialist equipment, data logging & visualization able to work autonomously in one compact unit from external computer is required for this purpose. This document outlines our requirements for an Autotuner unit. Objectives - To secure value for money goods and services for the UoN Additional information: TENDERERS MUST EXPRESS THEIR INTEREST THROUGH FIRST REGISTERING ON THE UNIVERSITYS E-TENDERING SYSTEM https://in-tendhost.co.uk/universityofnottingham/ Non-compliant expressions of interest (EOI) will not be considered or acknowledged.
