The University’s invites contactors to tender for RCD and RCBO testing to be carried out 6 monthly at the University of Leicester. The contract is for 3 years from 1 August 2023 to 31 July 2026 with an option to extend for a further 24 months to 31 July 2028.

The University of Leicester wishes to enter into a contract for the maintenance and repair of solar photovoltaic panels at the University of Leicester. Currently the University has systems installed across 8 buildings. The contract is for three years from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2026 with the option to extend for two further 12-month periods until 30 June 2028.

The University’s invites contactors to tender for a framework agreement for gutter cleaning services. The University intends to appoint 3-4 contractors to the framework. The agreement will initially run for a 2 year period, commencing on 1 August 2023 and ending on 31 July 2025 with two optional annual extension periods until 31 July 2027.

The University is seeking to enter into a Multi-Contractor Framework Agreement (Agreement) for the provision of Building Fabric Maintenance and Minor Building Works (Works) across its campus network. Works may comprise new buildings, extensions to existing buildings, conversion/refurbishment of existing buildings, works to ensure compliance with various legislative requirements, e.g. legionella, fire safety, DDA, mechanical and electrical engineering works and enabling works in advance of major capital works projects. This Agreement is a mechanism for engaging Main Contractors (Contractors) to deliver the range of Projects as required, the Contractors will be required to deliver the full Project which may include the needs for sub-contracting for mechanical, electrical, fit-out, painting and decorating, flooring as required. For the purposes of the Agreement, Works are defined as any Project with a construction price of between £10,000 and £2,500,000 net of VAT.

The University of Leicester wishes to enter into contract(s) for the provision of planned and reactive maintenance services of the University's ventilation and cooling systems. The procurement is split into 3 lots, lot 1 for ventilation systems maintenance, lot 2 for cooling systems maintenance and the third for a 'one-stop-shop' combined bid for ventilation and cooling. The University will award contracts for lot 1 and 2, or 3. The contract(s) are for 3 years from 1 February 2023 to 31 January 2026 with an option to extend for a further 24 months to 31 January 2028.

The University of Leicester wishes to enter into a framework with 3 providers for the test and inspection of its fire doors. The University requires competent contractors to carry out annual fire door inspections to all fire doors across the estate, in all properties. Approximately 15,000 fire doors are to be inspected and reported on in accordance with the Fire Door Maintenance Checklist. It is the University’s intention to appoint three suppliers to the framework agreement, each company will receive orders to inspect a minimum of 4,000 doors each year. The contract is for 3 years from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2025 with an option to extend by a further 24 months to 31 December 2027.

You are invited to take part in a competitive tender to enable the University to appoint a contractor to supply temporary heat and power to the University in the event of any failures of the University plant. The contract will be in place from 12 October 2023 for a period of 5 years until 11 October 2028.

The University's is seeking to award a multi supplier framework for hire of plant with operator. The University has a commercial archaeological Unit embedded in the School of Archaelogy and Ancient History, called University Leicester Archaeological Services (ULAS). ULAS offer a comprehensive, integrated service for all types of archaeological and heritage projects. For fieldwork-based projects, ULAS often use external suppliers to help with digging trenches and moving spoil (excavated material) around the sites. The Contract will initially run for a 3 year period, commencing on 1 July 2023 and ending on 30 June 2026 with one optional annual extension periods until 30 June 2027. The Contract will run into the optional years following satisfactory agreement between the University and the successful tenderer(s).

The University is seeking to award the Supplier a contract, providing professional property consultancy and agency services. The contract will be called-off as the University strategy evolves, further details are provided in the Specification and General Design of Requirements. The contract will run from 1 May 2023 for 5 years until 30 April 2028 with the option to extend by a further 5 annual periods until 30 April 2033.

The University of Leicester wishes to enter into a contract for the provision of Planned and Reactive Maintenance of Automatic Windows at the University of Leicester. The contract(s) are for 3 years from 1 March 2023 to 28 February 2026 with an option to extend for a further 24 months to 28 February 2028.

The University of Leicester wishes to enter into a contract for the asset validation, compliance validation and network testing of a the entire University wide Natural Gas pipeline systems and associated pipeline assemblies, that will ensure that the all of the natural gas pipelines form incomer to appliance are validated and comply with the highest quality standards. The contract is for 2 years from 1 October 2022.

This opportunity is for planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance relating to ventilation and cooling systems and Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP) to include call out facility. Reactive maintenance is required so that when breakdowns do occur they can be attended to and rectified as effectively as possible. A 24 hour, 7 day, 365 day emergency call out facility is also required as part of this contract. The maximum response time of is 4 hours during and outside of normal working hours.
