Expressions of Interest: Interior Fit-Out Works for the first Royal Parks Retail Operation in Hyde Park
The Royal Parks (TRP) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for providing interior fit-out works for the first TRP retail operation.
With a key focus on sustainability and accessibility, the first shop for the Royal Parks charity will be in Hyde Park and is programmed to open in early July 2023.
Please only express an interest if you can satisfy the following:
Timeline and Key Requirements:
- Late March 2023: Contract Award
- Early May 2023: Start on Site (Based on a four week programme with a phased approach, with minimal time on site due to maximising off-site fabrication)
- Early June 2023: Handover
As part of the future procurement process, interested suppliers will need to complete the PAS91 questionnaire or hold a relevant exemption; or be Constructionline-accredited to at least Gold standard, or equivalent.
The design has been completed to RIBA stage 4 and will be provided in full as part of the procurement process, which will commence in mid-February 2023.
The budget is £100,000.

The Royal Parks (TRP) is seeking expressions of interest from sound engineers and sound artists who are experienced in underwater acoustics and who are both technically skilled and creatively-minded.
We have a potential requirement for a series of underwater soundscapes to use as audio for our freshwater food chains animations. Sounds must be recorded in and around the ponds and lakes of the Royal Parks, and should then be mixed to create the soundscapes. The soundscapes will be used to create two interactive animations: one showing the complexity of our freshwater ecosystems through showcasing the myriad of food chains above and below the water.
We are seeking expressions of interest from the market to determine our procurement strategy.

Potential strategic partners who may be interested in operating HPWW in future years are encouraged to visit the event themselves to support them in responses to any future formal market engagement and/or procurement activity.

Market Engagement Notice for Landscape Maintenance at The Royal Parks
The Royal Parks is currently preparing for the renewal of the Grounds Maintenance Contract across several sites.
This will cover the provision of grounds maintenance and associated services in accordance with the objectives and requirement of the Procurement Act 2023 (PA23).
The scope includes but is not limited to:
• Routine and reactive grass cutting, lawn care, and turf management.
• Maintenance of hedges, shrubs, flowerbeds, and seasonal planting.
• Weed control, including the use of approved herbicides and environmentally sustainable alternatives.
• Litter picking, leaf clearance, and general grounds tidiness.
• Winter services, such as gritting and snow clearance (where applicable).
Stewarding at select events and site
• Associated inspections, reporting and compliance with relevant health and safety, environmental standards and Park management.
This contract aims to provide compliant, flexible, and a value for money route for the Royal Parks across a number of sites. Successful suppliers will be required to demonstrate:
• Relevant experience and technical capability in grounds maintenance.
• Working to applicable ISO standards such as sustainability, quality, health and safety, and any other relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001, 14001) or equivalent systems.
• A commitment to sustainability, biodiversity, and social value outcomes in line with the public benefit requirements of Procurement Act 2023.
