The contract was established for 4 years.

The contract was procured via further competition via the Kent County Council (KCS) Y20023 Managed Services for Business Solutions Framework. The contract was established for the duration of 4 years from 1 January 2026.

The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea (RBKC) has awarded a service contract to Zoocha Ltd for the provision of support and maintenance of corporate website and associated microsites. The contract was procured via direct award using the G-Cloud 14 Framework. The contract will be established for an initial duration of 12 months from 12 February 2026, with the option to extend for 12 further months at the RBKC's discretion.

The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea (RBKC) has directly awarded a software contract to Heywood Ltd for the provision of pensions administration software. The contract was established for three years commencing in April 2026.

The Council is seeking a suitably qualified Contractor to complete the external refurbishment works to Hanwell Chapel, a grade II listed building. The works include roof repairs to the vestry areas (including joist replacement), exterior stonework repairs, replacement rainwater goods and new fencing to the catacombs area. The work is required as the building is currently subject to water ingress and damp, without these works both the interior and exterior of the building will continue to deteriorate and result in more serious damage. The fencing is required to protect the structural integrity of the catacombs. The Planning and Listed Building consent for the works has been applied for, and decision is pending. The award of contract is subject to the necessary Planning and Listed Building Consent being approved.

RBKC is undertaking the procurement of a Framework for Fire Safety Works. This forms part of RBKC’s wider program of procurements (termed Project Union) to establish four (4) Housing Management Framework Agreements to enable delivery of various works and services. The Framework for Fire Safety Works will deliver a range of fire safety related works to RBKC’s property portfolio. It will be divided into three (3) Lots and RBKC wishes to appoint up to 5 Contractors per Lot. The Framework Agreement will be for a period of four (4) years with an option to extend for up to two (2) further years up to a maximum duration of six (6) years. The scope of works to be delivered under the Framework will be fire safety related works including planned maintenance, refurbishment and improvement works to RBKC housing stock including provision of new installs, repair, replacement, removal, and / or overhaul including but not limited to the following types of works: Fire Stopping, Compartmentation & Fire Doors including but not limited to; • Fire-stopping works • Loft and other compartmentation work. • Fire safety signage • Communal area decorations - flame retardant coating systems • Open Walkway, Weather and Security screen • Opening-up and making-good works as part of intrusive surveys, i.e., accompanying FRA consultant • FRA / Fire strategy works such as Bin chutes (e.g., closing off) Communal fire doors and internal glazed screens. • Communal Fire Door Sets / Front entrance fire doors • Other fire doors (e.g., services / cupboards doors) (Includes repair, inspection, and replacement) Active Fire Protection Systems including but not limited to; • Fire Extinguishers provision • Wet, dry & lateral rising mains • Sprinkler systems • Water mist systems Means of Escape, Fire Detection and Smoke Ventilation Systems including but not limited to; • Fire detection and alarm systems (including smoke and heat detectors within dwellings and integrated systems in common parts) • Evacuation alert systems (to be used by Fire & Rescue Service) • Installation of fire / smoke dampers within flats onto communal ducts • Emergency and communal lighting • Smoke ventilation systems (mechanical and natural smoke and heat exhaust ventilation systems including AOVs)

Contract Award As a landlord RBKC is responsible for the repair, maintenance and good management of its buildings and housing stock RBKC is proposing to establish framework agreements for the provision of professional services that will enable it to meet these obligations. From time-to-time work is required to RBKC’s buildings and estates, due to ordinary wear and tear, the finite lifespan of the relevant parts, for compliance with the most up to date standards and regulations, and to otherwise ensure that its housing stock is safe, well managed, in good condition, and meets the needs of residents. To facilitate this work, professional and specialist advice is required to support the internal delivery teams. The proposed framework agreements are intended to ensure that when, during the coming years, RBKC finds that it is necessary to carry out works to a particular building or estate, arrangements will be in place to call-off and deliver the professional services that will support the safe, timely and cost-effective delivery of works. RBKC intends that the use of these framework agreements will produce economies of scale and administrative efficiencies, that will enable it to achieve greater value for money for the Council, and for its leaseholders. To that end, RBKC has divided the procurement into multiple lots so as to mitigate risk, foster competition in the market by promoting tender participation from small and medium size enterprises, and avoid single-supplier dependency.

The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea (RBKC) has awarded an insurance tender - Leasehold Buildings Lot 9 Award 2024-2029 contracts to Protector Insurance (Company No: FC033034) for the delivery of Leasehold Buildings insurance. The tender was carried out using the Open procedure using the Council’s capitalEsourcing portal. The Contract Notice was published on 19th of January 2024 and open for 30 days and closed on 19th of February 2024. The contract will be established for an initial duration of five-year arrangement, premiums are not fixed by the insurers as they will be subject to annual index linking to reflect the current inflation at that time. This ensures the Councils’ assets are adequately insured and not subject to under-insurance.
