The Consumer Council is seeking to appoint a Contractor who can manage the organisation’s website, including redesign, development, hosting, support, and maintenance. The core requirements of this contract are to: • Design, manage and maintain a website for the Consumer Council which is up to date with industry best practices in user experience, accessibility, and design. • Position the Consumer Council as the trusted source of information, support, and advice for consumers, businesses, and stakeholders in Northern Ireland. • Promote the Consumer Council’s services, information, and advice so that consumers, stakeholders, and businesses can increase their awareness and understanding of key consumer issues and make informed decisions. • Help the Consumer Council meet the objectives set out in its 2021-2024 Corporate Plan and yearly Forward Work Programmes.
The Consumer Council wishes to implement a new Complaints Relationship Management (CRM) System. The Contractor will be required to provide a solution that meets the needs of the organisation in order to manage its statutory complaints function. The Client will also require on-going maintenance, support services and user licences. The aim is to procure, install and migrate to a CRM solution that provides a robust and flexible complaints management system that will support the effective and efficient management of user information. The Client is therefore seeking to appoint a Contractor to deliver, implement, support and maintain a new complaints management system and provide customisation as required.

The Consumer Council is seeking to appoint an economic forecasting and consulting company to provide the Consumer Council with ongoing quarterly data analysis and reporting relating to the financial position of consumers across all regions of the United Kingdom with a particular focus on Northern Ireland and the impact of the cost of living crisis on consumer income, expenditure and discretionary income.
