The Essex Procurement Partnership (EPP), on behalf of Tendring District Council (also referred to as "TDC", "the Authority" or "the Employer") is inviting suppliers to bid for the provision Communal Doors within the district. This service is a critical component of the TDC's Corporate Plan, Crime and Disorder Strategy, Community Safety and the Housing Antisocial Behaviour strategy within the district. The purpose of the procurement is to commission a reliable, experienced and professional contractor who can undertake removal, installation and construction for improvements to the current communal doorways in various buildings within the district. This procurement is for the replacement of existing steel, timber or composite communal entrance doors, side screens and door entry control systems, with new secure aluminium door sets and integrated door entry control systems with access control connected to 'Cloud Software'. Within the Council's Housing Investment Programme 2025-2026 it has identified the need to continue a rolling programme of communal door entry replacements. The focus is primarily on the main and secondary entrance doors to communal areas in the Council's housing stock, the project will contribute towards security and antisocial behaviour priorities in Corporate Plan, Crime and Disorder Strategy, Community Safety and the Housing Antisocial Behaviour strategy. The Council proposes to continue long- term programme to replace communal doors and door entry systems to sheltered units and general needs flats. The works will include the removal of current doors and entry and locking systems, installation of high security aluminium framed, powder coated and double-glazed doors/frames/ sidelights complete with all required furniture, fixings trims and accessories, making good, connection and installation connection and commissioning of new door entry systems complete with connection to the to the cloud-based control system established, and the testing and certification of all works including electrical testing and approved contractor notifications under the building regulations.

The Essex Procurement Partnership (EPP), on behalf of Tendring District Council (TDC) is looking to procure a service for the provision of Waste Collection & Disposal to 3 Leisure Centres in the district. The contract is expected to start on 1 April 2026, with a duration of 3 years with an optional extension of 1 + 1 Year. This service is a critical component of TDC's paid-for waste collection; the existing contract expires on 31st March 2026. The service is statutory under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and relates to the safe handling, collection, and disposal of hazardous, non-hazardous and washroom waste from centers. This procurement exercise will include 3 locations: - Clacton Leisure Centre, CO15 6DB - Dovercourt Bay Lifestyles, CO12 3TA - Walton-on-the-Naze Lifestyle, CO14 8PZ The waste disposal will encompass several elements: - Bulk General Waste (Inc. Food waste) - Washroom Waste (Sanitary Waste, Nappies, Sharps, Hazardous) - Dry Mixed Recycling Waste Each sites needs are different and suppliers are advised to ensure they understand the need of each sites waste disposal and facilitation requirements. The contract will include the provision of bins by the supplier, collection and disposal. There are currently days scheduled for collection, and suppliers are expected to liaise with the leisure centres upon award of the contract to ensure a smooth transition of services within the mobilisation period. The purpose of this procurement is to secure a reliable, suitably qualified, licensed and efficient partner who will be responsible for the administrative management, timely collection and disposal of waste from commercial centres within the district of Tendring. The supplier will be responsible for the provision, collection and disposal of waste in line with regulations.

ProContract Project Reference No.: DN803885 Essex Procurement Partnership is procuring, on behalf of Tendring District Council, with the resulting contract between the Council and the successful Bidder, to deliver two construction redevelopment projects in Dovercourt (Harwich), Essex. The sites are located at (i) Milton Road and (ii) Victoria Street, Dovercourt, Essex and a single main contractor will be expected to deliver both requirements. Upgraded Parking and Landscaping: construction of a new at-grade car park, cycle parking, and landscaping improvements at Milton Road Car Park, Milton Road - Dovercourt, Essex Victoria Street project: construction project to convert two derelict sites to (i) social housing and (ii) dedicated parking spaces for residents. The construction period is anticipated to take 12 months. The defects period is an additional term; further details are provided in the tender pack. Both projects already have planning permission and are at RIBA stage 3. The tender is being run as a two stage procurement, with pricing for both the PCSA and indicative Contract Sum Analysis required at this stage. The project comprises of demolishing the existing steel-framed car park structure, preparing the site for the development, and construction of: 1. 28nr new residential apartments 2. replacement multi storey public car park 3. community spaces 4. new publicly accessible urban realm, featuring range of hard and soft landscaping features.
