Our aim is to create a more pleasant environment in which to spend time (thereby encouraging economic growth and wellbeing), and to mitigate against surface water flooding. The stretch of road to be improved is from the roundabout at the intersection of Croydon Road with Station Avenue and Godstone Road, to the intersection with Colin Road with Croydon Road. The work area is shown in the attached documents.
The improvements will include:

o Replacement hard surfacing for the parking areas including permeable paving
o Hydro-rock base for surface water storage/flow control
o Removal of unnecessary street clutter
o Planting of trees and plants
o Creation of pocket parks/parklets
o Creation of rain gardens
o Creation of space for caf? seating
o Provision of public seating
o Provision of cycle parking
The PQQ is being issued as the first stage of a two stage Restricted process with a value below the FTS (previously EU) threshold for Works but above the threshold for Services where a pre-selection stage is permitted

Additionally, as the only stock holding authority, Tandridge Council will require the Service Provider to undertake the delivery of major and minor adaptions in the Council's own homes.
The Service Provider will be required to enter into a separate contract with each of the three authorities individually, although service provision is to be provided jointly to all three authorities.

Tandridge District Council invites bids for the provision of its property insurance in respect of private dwellings sold on a leasehold basis, the majority of these were under the Right To Buy (RTB) legislation.
The dwellings are flats in blocks and flats in houses (maisonettes) where the Contracting Authority still retain the freehold ownership and in some case the leases may state that the Contracting Authority, as the Freeholder, will arrange the buildings insurance on behalf of the Leaseholder and recharge the premium as part of the Service Charge. Other flats in some blocks have not been sold (Council tenanted) and are separately insured so insurance cover for these flats are not required.
The current Long Term Agreement expires on 31st December 2023.
Cover is expected to commence at 00.01am on the 1st January 2024.
