This contract is for the provision of Platform Safety Lining, inclusive of white platform lining, yellow platform lining visual cues for operational platforms across the EMR estate. EMR are responsible for 102 stations which are a range of sizes and different number of platforms. Each station experiences a variety of footfall across commuting, business and leisure. The service will ensure a robust schedule of painting which is planned in advance and communicated with EMR. The service will also allow for an ad-hoc call out service for responsive works as identified by EMR in line with safety and EMR's Service Quality Regime (SQR) requirements.

East Midlands Railway provides intercity and regional train services across the Midlands through to London. These are distinguished by 3 sub brands that reflect the region they serve and routes they operate: EMR Intercity operates from the Midlands (Sheffield, Derby, Nottingham, Leicester) through to London St Pancras EMR Regional provides local services to towns and communities across England, including; Crewe, Matlock, Stoke-on-Trent, Peterborough, Grantham, Norwich and Skegness. EMR Connect operates between Corby and London St Pancras. The Luton Airport Express operates on this route with majority of airport passengers travelling from London St Pancras. EMR are looking for a strategic marketing agency to plan, buy and optimise all of their paid media for both EMR and Luton Airport Express which covers but is not limited to:- 1. Media Buying (AV, Radio, OOH, Social, Digital) AV (includes linear TV, Video on Demand and Connected TV) Radio (Digital audio, traditional radio and sponsorships if relevant) OOH (Digital and paper) Social (Meta, snapchat, tiktok etc.) Digital (covers awareness and conversion driving activity) 2. Services Required This contract is made up of a variety of services which are dependent on the size, scale and staffing levels of each station. Services included as part of the contract include, collection and banking of cash/cheque bags, delivery of change, collection of waste tickets, ticket vending machine replenishment, basic troubleshooting of ticket machines, delivery of cash and documents and management services associated with day-to-day operations. Transport UK (Operations) Limited ("Transport UK") (formerly known as Abellio Transport Holdings Limited) is dedicated to offering safer, more reliable and easier rail journeys. A leading transport operating group, Transport UK focuses on transforming the industry and working with partners to offer a more convenient and better service to make people's lives easier. Transport UK runs train operators East Midlands Railway and West Midlands Railway (including its sub-brand, London Northwestern Railway), as well as the MerseyRail concession in a 50:50 joint venture with Serco. It operates Transport UK London Bus services with 700 buses on over 47 London routes, has recently invested in a major new depot and will shortly introduce electric buses on a number of its routes. Midlands Limited is pleased and proud to be the operator of EMR. It's our vision to drive the East Midlands towards a brighter future, working in partnership to connect cities, support communities and create easier journeys for everyone. EMR operates 21x Class 360 Electric Multiple Units between Corby and London St Pancras. The fleet is maintained at Bedford Cauldwell Depot; heavy maintenance, and a forthcoming fleet refurbishment, will be undertake at Siemens' depot at Northampton Kings Heath - Therefore, the units will require movement to and from Kings Heath for these maintenance events. The Class 360s are a 4 car EMU, built by Siemens under the Desiro Classic series of trains. They are fitted with Dellner 12 couplers at a height of 925mm above Rail level. Braking is available through the electrical head via either PWM signal or 3 step braking with enhanced emergency braking. Suppliers are requested to provide EMR with a proposal for the movement of Class 360 units between Kettering Depot Sidings and Northampton Kings Heath Depot. Additionally, we require the option for collection/delivery between Northampton Kings Heath Depot and Cricklewood A-E sidings. EMR recognises that markets and businesses are changing at an ever-increasing pace. The requirements detailed in this document are, therefore, the minimum acceptable to EMR and the Supplier should consider where they are capable of development of services within their offer in order to meet EMR's requirements. Aims In delivering this contract, EMR requires the Supplier to undertake the following: • Safe Transportation - ensure the safe movement of Class 360 train sets, adhering to all safety regulations and standards and without damage • Timely delivery - planning and co-ordination to meet delivery schedules • Cost Efficiency - minimising costs whilst maintaining high standards of service • Flexibility and Adaptability - able to adapt to changing circumstances • Environmental Considerations - reducing the environmental impact through efficient logistics and use of eco-friendly practices.
