carry out lifeguard duties at bathing beaches in Sheerness and Leysdown on the Isle
of Sheppey, Kent. The provision will include personnel, equipment and temporary lifeguard
stations. The contractor will also provide operational management plans specific to
each beach including risk assessments and safe methods of operation.
Minor maintenance and cleansing of public conveniences.
The contract involves inspection and cleansing of public conveniences within Swale
including periodic deep cleans and minor repairs
Provision of Minor Maintenance and Cleansing of Public Conveniences. Two contracts will be awarded to one supplier.
The contracts will involve opening and closing public conveniences; cleansing and maintaining them (undertaking minor maintenance works); providing consumables; undertaking hygiene services and dispose of corresponding waste.
The contract for Lot 1 shall commence on 01/04/26 and terminate on 31/03/31. The council may extend the opportunity for a further 1 year. The contract for Lot 2 shall commence on 01/04/26 and terminate on 31/03/27. The council may extend the opportunity for 1 year periods of up to a further 5 years.

Swale Borough Council invited tenders for Parking Payment Terminal Replacement.
The contract involves the supply and maintenance of 38 Parking Payment Terminals in
Swale at sites designated in the specification.
The contract commenced on 11th April 2022 and will terminate on 10th April 2029. The
council may extend the opportunity on an annual basis via mutual written agreement
thereafter up to a maximum of 7 years. This is due to the successful supplier being the only
company able to service their own machines, and the machines themselves having an
undefined lifecycle (between 7-15 years, dependent on modular components, software and
market developments).
