The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Region of Learning (CPRoL) is led by Cambridge City Council (the Council) in partnership with Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council. To support the Region of Learning project, Cambridge City Council intends to commission the development of smart library cards. The Smart Library Card project should be able to integrate the XP Community of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Region of Learning digital platform (the Navigatr platform) with the Cambridgeshire County Council Libraries Service database (Civica Spydus Integrated Library Management System). This includes producing repurposed library cards for participants of CPRoL and introducing a smart chip to the cards that will enable them to be used at multiple locations and with different technologies.Civica Spydus Integrated Library Management System). The Council is seeking a digital solution to enable the integration of the existing Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Region of Learning digital platform (the Navigatr platform) with the Cambridgeshire County Council Libraries Service database, including Civica Spydus and required hardware on capturing activity attendance at a variety of locations, including staffed and unstaffed venues, as part of the repurposing of library cards into smart, universal passports\r
The 2015 to 2022 Play Investment Strategy has provided Cambridge City Council with a comprehensive review of all the play area provisions within the City of Cambridge, as a result of which, a number were identified as giving poor to very poor play value. \r
One specific play areas has been identified in this tranche of works that requires a full re-design and partial replacement. \r
It has been agreed that this will need to be focused around specific age ranges and criteria as below.\r

Kings Hedges recreation Ground (The Pulley) is a play area aimed at the 4-14 age range. It currently has climbing equipment, multi play units, swings and some older equipment. Some of the current equipment must be retained in any development as a minimum requirement and its retention will be considered as a pass/fail. Equipment should be inclusive and innovative aimed at the specified age range.\r

All play areas should have suitable safety surfacing and conform to standards EN1177 and EN1176\r
