The footways, footpaths and roads are inspected regularly for defects and orders for repairs are issued on a priority basis, depending on the assessed hazard to users of the highway. Emergencies of high importance will require a response from the Contractor within 3 hours maximum and may include work at night. SBC are currently seeking a suitable contractor for the GARAGE PORTFOLIO-REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE TERM CONTRACT Stevenage Borough Council “the Council" is responsible for routine maintenance of circa 6500 garage assets across the borough with an average of 630 repairs reported per year and circa 500 garages becoming void. The scope of work is to include Repairs, Maintenance and Planned Works for the Councils 6500 garages.
