A contract for an outsourced cleaning provision at Solihull College University Centre (SCUC) is due to expire 31.07.24
SCUC consists of three campuses Blossomfield (B91 1SB), Woodlands (B36 0NF) and Stratford Upon Avon (CV37 9QR). This is quantified in a combined total of approximately 10,000 students and apprentices with just over 5,000 being full time, and approximately 1,100 staff members.
A new outsourced provision is required across all three campuses. Tendering will be approx. Mar/April for award in June and go live 01.08.24. TUPE will apply.
This notice is to understand interest in this tender requirement so an appropriate tendering strategy can be agreed.

Landscaping works starting 16 May 2023 for completion by 28 November 2023. Works to follow on from the demolition of 4 buildings on site and will include the rectification of building footings ahead of the main landscaping. Purpose of the works is to create a central courtyard and will include requirements for servicing works, soft and hard landscaping and general improvement works.

GBSIoT wishes to promote the sector's incredible career opportunities, particularly to the young and ethnically diverse population of Birmingham and Solihull. In particular GBSIoT wishes to target and reach under-represented and disadvantaged groups including females; people from low-income households; from neighbourhoods with low participation rates, unemployed and NEET young people.
To support this ambition, GBSIoT is now looking to engage with the market in the preparation of a procurement strategy for the provision of a digital platform, using digital technology to inspire and support young people in particular, but not exclusively, to access, vocational skills opportunities related to STEM-based careers in Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering, or Digital professions.
The platform needs to be live in time for a March 2023 delivery. It is currently envisaged that to allow time to tender work will not commence before October 2022
