Hampshire and Isle of Wight (HIOW) Occupational Health Services (OHS) are seeking to procure suitably qualified Occupational Health Physicians (OHPs) to work within HIOW on a flexible basis. Providers will support the existing Trust OHS for NHS People across the Integrated Care Board (ICB). The majority of OHS are SEQOHS accredited ( or are becoming accredited) and deliver the current services with teams of accredited Occupational Health professionals (physicians and nurses) and supported by experienced administration staff . The OHS provide a comprehensive occupational health service (referrals, ill health retirement, pre-placement health assessments, vaccinations and health surveillance etc) to our NHS People. Our focus is on high quality, accessible and evidence-based practice to maximise the effectiveness of staff and the best possible outcomes for all. We aim to: • Support staff and managers to create a safe and healthy working environment where the health and wellbeing of employees is highly valued, and which encourages and supports employees to maintain and adopt healthy lifestyles. • Support staff through change and help them to achieve the highest levels of performance, contributing to operational efficiency. • Take a proactive approach to supporting staff and managers to improve staff attendance. • Work within national guidance and legislation and ensure compliance and best practice guidance and standards are met. The Staff to whom we provide Occupational Health services work in a variety of settings, which include hospital wards, specialist clinics, care homes, community health clinics, patient homes, offices and other business environments and home working. The majority of consultations can take place remotely, however, when clinically indicated, face to face appointments on one of our sites may be required.

Direct award of a 12 month contract with the option to extend for another 12 month period for the provision of Cleaning Services to one of the Trust's sites in Andover as a result of a relocation of a team to a new facility. Hampshire Hospitals Foundation Trust has been providing cleaning services to the existing facility. Solent NHS Trust have the responsibility to ensure all facilities are maintained to the NHS Standards of Cleanliness for Staff and Patient safety. As the incumbent they provide a quality service in line with NHS National Standards of Cleanliness. The direct award of this contract enables the Trust to continue providing services to their patients in a safe and clean environment whilst the Trust continues to develop it's wider Estates strategy.
