The SSBC programme includes a range of evidence and science-based programmes which have been carefully selected by the partnership, to achieve population-level improvements across the three A Better Start (ABS) child development outcomes.
The projects funded through the Ideas Fund funding are small scale projects, funded for between 1-3 years with between 5-20K. Funded projects align with the three SSBC child development outcomes and aim to support families and build community capacity.
Since its launch in 2016, the SSBC Ideas Fund has funded, annually, a range of projects, all with the same overall aim of community-based commissioning and asset-based approaches. Some annual funding periods have had a more specific or themed priority.
SSBC wish to evaluate these projects with the help of an organisation with relevant expertise.
