Market Engagement Event - Smokefree Sefton Stop Smoking Service
Sefton Council is holding an engagement event on Friday 15th May ahead of the re-tendering of Smokefree Sefton Stop Smoking Service 2027 - 2034
The procurement of this contract will be subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 (PSR). For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contract Regulations 2015 / Procurement Act 2023 will not apply to the future tender.
The contract value is provisional and will be confirmed at tender stage.
Integrated Domestic Abuse Service at Sefton Council
Sefton is seeking to procure a fully Integrated Domestic Abuse Service (IDAS) from 2025 for a minimum of 3 years. The service will provide holistic support to victims/survivors and families of domestic abuse, irrespective of protected characteristic or risk level. The service will provide therapeutic counselling to those who require it in order to build resilience and aid recovery from the long-term effects of domestic abuse. The service will address the priorities outlined in the action plan accompanying the Domestic & Sexual Abuse Strategy 2023-2028.
Based on the needs assessment that was commissioned to meet our statutory obligations under the Domestic Abuse Act 2021, we have unmet need around:
? Reporting of domestic abuse in more affluent areas of the borough was less than in areas of deprivation.
? Older victims / survivors due to the varying age demographics across Sefton.
? Male victims
? Ensuring the voices of those with lived experience of domestic abuse are being fully utilised.
Young People’s Digital Mental Health Support Service (10-25)
Sefton Metropolitan Borough Council intends to secure the services of an experienced and suitably qualified organisation to deliver a digital mental health support service for young people (10-25).
This is a 39 month contract with two 12-month optional extensions.
Contract start: 1st January 2025
Contract end (initial term): 31st March 2028
