On 8 December 2015 the Secretary of State for the Home Department (the "Authority") and EE Ltd ("EE") entered into a contract for the development and provision of a 4G network, as part of the Home Office's emergency services network ("ESN") project (the "Original Lot 3 Agreement"). ESN is to be used by the emergency services and other organisations that have a requirement for a public safety communications solution ("PSCS"). The Original Lot 3 Agreement is due to expire on 31 December 2024. The Authority intends to enter into a new contract (the "Mobile Services Agreement") jointly with EE and British Telecommunications Plc (“BT”) (together “the MS Suppliers” and both wholly owned by BT Group Plc), subject to the terms of the Mobile Services Agreement being agreed and terminate the Original Lot 3 Agreement early. The Term of the succeeding Mobile Services Agreement will be for a period of 7.25 years (plus one year optional extension) from execution date, which is currently anticipated to be during Q4 2024. The Agreement may also be subject to a termination assistance services (TAS) period where /if required. The detail in this VEAT notice reflects the key commercial principles of the Mobile Services Agreement as agreed between the parties; further detail on scope is set out at II.2.4 below.

An Enhanced Integration Package (EIP) was announced as part of the New Plan for Immigration (NPI) in support of the objective of better protecting and supporting those in genuine need. The NPI sets out our commitment to offer an 'enhanced integration package' to 'support refugees to integrate and become self-sufficient more quickly'. The EIP will be delivered under the name of 'Refugee Employability Programme' (REP). This package will ensure that refugees, arriving via safe and legal routes, have the tools they need to become fully independent and provide for themselves and their families. The REP will provide 'tailored and flexible employment support arrangements to refugees arriving to help accelerate their progress as they adjust to life' in England.

The Secretary of State for the Home Department (referred to as the Home Office) is the lead government department for immigration and passports and is responsible for securing the UK border, controlling immigration and issuing passports and visas. The Home Office, acting through Home Office Biometrics (HOB), is the Authority seeking to procure services for the provision of Biometric Matcher Platform and associated Services (BMPS). The Matcher Service Platform (MSP) is a combination of a technology platform and the services required to support and operate the biometric matching functions. The MSP can be further broken down into: - a Matcher Service Bus (MSB) where biometric transaction processing logic, biometric workflow rules, integration of Matching Engine Software (MES) and a Service Interface used by external subsystems; and - the infrastructure platform to host and provide the computing capacity for the MSB and MES operations. The BMPS Project can be defined in 5 stages as below: Stage 1 - Transition of the services developed under the existing Matcher Platform supplier to the new supplier. These services are for the delivery of Matching Platform and Mark to Print search capability for Law Enforcement. This is expected to go live before this contract award. Stage 2 - Delivery of other IDENT1 search capabilities (Print to Print, Print to Mark & Mark to Mark) for Law Enforcement allowing for the decommission of the legacy IDENT1 matching algorithm. Stage 3 - Immigration collection moved from IABS to the Fingerprint & Face Algorithms on the MSP. This allows for the decommission of the legacy IABS fingerprint and face algorithms. This Stage deploys Face algorithm onto the Matcher Platform and is an enabler for Strategic Facial Matching for Law Enforcement as well as ETA Face for FBIS. Stage 4 - Migration of HMPO, EUSS & FBIS collections onto the MSP (re-using the Face Algorithm on the Platform), allowing for the decommission of the IABS Passport Face Matcher. Stage 5 - Facial matching for law enforcement use-case. This contract is for a initial term of 5 years with option to extend by a further 3 years (5+1+1+1).

This is for the provision of comprehensive hard and limited soft FM services related to site maintenance at a MOD Property including, planned and reactive maintenance, handyman services, grounds maintenance, pest control [and some other services].

This Award Notice relates to the award of a contract the provision of User Services (US) , a managed service to be provided to the 3 Emergency Services (Police, Fire and Rescue and Ambulance) ("3ES") and other future users. 

The Authority is responsible for the processing of asylum claims. This may be from individuals who are undocumented and for whom there is reason to have doubts about their claimed country of origin. The UK currently uses language analysis methods to support identification of an individual's country of origin. This Contract Award relates to the delivery of a service to analyse individuals' speech via interview to pinpoint linguistic origin and therefore country of origin where an individual's claim of origin is in doubt. Following an Open procurement process, which reached a conclusion in June 2022, the Authority have now concluded the Contract Award, with services commencing 11th November 2024. The contract duration will be 3 years in total, ending 10th November 2027, with the option of a further 12 month extension.

Following the completion of an Open Procurement Procedure under the Public Contract Regulations 2015, the Home Office is awarding a contract for the delivery of Asylum Interview booths at various facilities across the UK.

Metrology is the scientific study of measurement and accurate measurement underpins much of the UK’s infrastructure. National security challenges continue to evolve into new areas that threaten and disrupt the fabric of society, economic well-being and way of life. Rapid commissioning of impartial research into this specialist area against the UK National Measurement standards is a capability sought by the Home Office.
