The Scottish Prison Service (SPS) has a requirement for the Provision of Bedding Items. The SPS is looking for a supplier of these items for its 16 operational establishments where approximately 7,500 prisoners are located across Scotland. The goods supplied under this contract shall include but not limited to:
Single Duvets;
Pillow Cases;
Single Fitted Sheets;
Single Duvet Covers; and
Towels.
SPS-02200 - Provision of Tamper Proof Evidence Bags for SPS
The SPS require a Contract in place for the provision of Tamper Proof Evidence Bags, including Paper Bags and Evidence Tubes. The Supplier must be able to provide a variety of sizes of each product.
All Tamper Proof Evidence Bags are required to include a printed label and the Supplier shall implement a numbering sequence. It is crucial that all Evidence Bags produced contain different reference numbers (I.E. No two evidence bags are produced with the same reference number).
SPS-01971 Domestic Abuse Support Services at HMP&YOI Polmont
The SPS is seeking a supplier that shall provide Domestic Abuse & Trauma Awareness & Support for a mixed population who are in custody within HMP & YOI Polmont.
In order to enhance IT service management (ITSM) capabilities, the SPS are seeking a comprehensive support contract that includes platform coordination, support, and development time.
02031 Design & Technical Services for the Scottish Prison Service (SPS) Framework Agreement
The SPS requires a supplier to provide specialist services to assist the SPS Estates and Technical Services Team deliver a wide range, type and complexity of construction projects. The supplier is required to provide services covering a wide range of professional and engineering disciplines and other development and property / facility related issues. These services are required when there is not sufficient resource available from the SPS’s internal specialists or the service requires the input of a specialist that SPS do not employ.
The primary services SPS require are as follows;
- Architectural;
- CDM;
- Civil & Structural Engineering;
- Mechanical & Electrical Services; and
- Surveying.
The Scottish Prison Service (SPS) requires a supplier(s) to provide a varied range of Janitorial Supplies to SPS Sites across Scotland. This shall include but not limited to the following:
Lot 1 Janitorial Products - janitorial hardware e.g. mop, bio-hazard products and chemical products; and
Lot 2 Paper Products - paper goods e.g. toilet tissue.
The Scottish Prison Service (SPS) has an ongoing requirement for the Provision (and potentially recycling) of Mattresses and Pillows. The SPS is looking for a supplier of these items for its 16 operational establishments where approximately 7,500 prisoners are located across Scotland.
The Scottish Priosn Service (SPS) requires a Supplier to deliver Youth Work Services to HMYOI Polmont, HMP & YOI Grampian and HMP & YOI Cornton Vale. The Supplier shall utilise specific and proven approaches to deliver youth work services, which take account of the specific needs of young people in custody and focus on the individual young person in assessing those needs.
The Supplier shall be required to provide interventions and activities that will aid the personal development and life skills of the young person and to help young people believe they can have significant control of their lives both within, and more particularly outwith, a prison environment.
Finally, the Contract will provide knowledge and professional skills transfer to specific SPS staff who will be undertaking formal youth work qualifications.
02020 Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) and Welfare Services to Scottish Central Government
SPS are leading a collaborative procurement on behalf of a range of Scottish public bodies (circa 40 Collaborative Partners with an employee headcount circa 34,000) to secure a provider of an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP). The Services are intended to provide support to employees by providing access to confidential advisory and supportive interventions to deal with any personal/work related problems. Services required include: telephone counselling, information services, advice for carers, service’s to management staff, face to face counselling sessions, and referral procedures. Additionally there is a requirement to provide Welfare Services to a number of the Collaborative Partners. The Welfare Service shall comprise of: crisis intervention, welfare services (including home visits) and advocacy (facilitating meetings on behalf of individuals both a support mechanism for staff and a management reporting function for Human Resource Business Partners.
