To help inform the route to market, the Scottish Sentencing Council wish to invite prospective suppliers to note interest in an upcoming tender exercise; "Provision of Consultation Analysis for the Scottish Sentencing Council". A high level scope of the consultation analysis requirement can be referenced in the attached document "SCTS-2025-010 - Prior Information Notice".

The Scottish Courts and Tribunal Service (SCTS) is seeking information from relevant organisations regarding the provision of a third party application to carry out compliant governance in adherence to the Public Records (Scotland) Act 2011. SCTS plan to run a tender exercise in early-mid 2025 to procure this application. The purpose of the Prior Information Notice and this Request for Information is to gain market intelligence which will help to inform the specification and route to market for the upcoming tender exercise. SCTS require the application to conduct automatic classification by content of records maintained in SCTS’ systems of record and paper records. SCTS is seeking a solution that would use a high degree of AI-based automation to automatically classify the records held in SCTS systems with a high degree of confidence and then apply the retention for those records based on the classification. This is a retention system based on ‘Content not container’. SCTS also require the solution to be able to keep logs persistently and create metadata disposal stubs. The high level requirements of the system are laid out below. Please refer to the RfI document attached to this PIN for further information. The deadline for RfI submissions is Friday, 10th January 2025.

Library Services (comprising the Supreme Courts Library Service and Sheriff Courts Library Service, hereafter referred to as LS) procure a significant number of legal textbooks from various publishers and suppliers for use by the judiciary and staff at multiple locations. These legal textbooks are typically added to the library collections across these sites, with exceptions for personal use by departments or individuals, primarily within the judiciary. Currently, LS operate under different agreements with various suppliers, which vary between the two branches. The purpose of this PIN is to investigate solutions that rationalise the various agreements Library Services has for legal textbooks and allow for an efficient and streamlined ordering process. Please find attached Request for Information (RFI) document for further details on our requirement, procurement exercise and questions we have for suppliers. We would be grateful if suppliers could complete and return the RFI to dchawla@scotcourts.gov.uk. The information received will be used in the planning and conduct of the procurement procedure.

The Scottish courts and tribunal services (SCTS) is seeking information regarding the design and development of an end-to-end digital jury case management system to capture the personal details and availability of potential jurors, issue jury citations, deal with excusal requests, issue automated notifications and reminders and provide the required lists of assize to ensure the availability of jurors for both the Sheriff and High Courts throughout Scotland.

Digital Education and Learning Training Academy (DELTA) is the current Learning Management System (LMS). It has been in place since 2017 and following a further extension to contract is in place until September 2023. SCTS are now seeking to replace DELTA and seek engagement with the market to look at new, innovative solutions.

We require the services of an Investment Management Company located in or able to operate in Scotland. The primary responsibility of the selected company will be the management and oversight of funds belonging to minors (children) under the age of 16. The funds generally originate from various sources, including inheritances, damages, or insurance policies related to children. The Investment Management Company will be expected to demonstrate expertise in effectively handling and growing these funds while adhering to legal and regulatory frameworks. They should possess a strong understanding of financial management principles and ideally have experience in handling portfolios on behalf of minors.
