Salix Homes - Responsive Repairs and Associated Services Framework - Expression of Interest
Salix Homes is engaging the market ahead of issuing the following procurement opportunity - Responsive Repairs and Associated Services Framework. The framework is intended to be let for a period of 4 years split into the following lots: - Lot 1: Responsive Repairs/Void (general building) - Lot 2: Drainage - Lot 3: Scaffold - Lot 4: Damp and Mould We wish to invite contractors to a supplier's information event on Tuesday 22nd October from 10:00 to 13:00 at Salix Homes, Diamond House, 2 Peel Cross Road, Salford M5 4DT. If enough requests are made, a link to attend via Teams may be sent. We recommend this event is attended by any prospective bidder for the framework. The purpose of the event is to engage with the market in advance of issuing a formal ITT by providing early information and background to our requirements and gain an understanding of the market capacity / capability to deliver the scope. We intend to discuss the scopes of each procurement as well as providing an overview of the procurement and contracting approaches. The provision of Level 4 & Level 5 Chartered Institute of Housing Qualifications
Salix Homes intends to undertake a procurement for the provision of Chartered Institute of Housing Level 4 and Level 5 Housing Management Qualifications to support the development of Senior and Executive Leaders within a Social Housing context.
The proposed requirement will include:
- CIH Level 4 qualifications for Senior Housing Leaders( including stan alone qualification delivery or apprenticeship qualification)
- CIH Level 5 qualifications for Senior Housing Executive Leaders(delivery as stand alone qualification)
The procurement is expected to include flexible Delivery Models which may comprise:
- Classroom based training (onsite at Salix homes / at local centre
- Virtual classroom with online delivery

- A blended option of all of the above
The successful provider(s) will be required to demonstrate the capacity to enrol learners and commence delivery by 31 March 2026.
