The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea as lead authority on behalf of itself and the London Dangerous Structures Consortium (the 'Consortium') is appointing a supplier to its Emergency Dangerous Structures Framework. The members of the Consortium are listed below. The Authority on behalf of the Consortium is awarding the Emergency Dangerous Structures Framework Agreement to provide rapid response (attendance within 2 hours), emergency shoring and remedial works to dangerous buildings and structures on a 24 hour a day, 365 days a year basis across the Consortium's geographical area encompassing all of London, plus Dartford and Spelthorne. Term of the framework agreement is 1 April 2025 to the 31 March 2029. The Contractor may also be asked to provide planned maintenance or planned works as and when required.

RBKC wishes to appoint a number of contractors across four (4) Lots to deliver a range of mechanical and electrical works, including specific lot for lift installation and refurbishment works to its property portfolio. The intention is to enter into the Framework agreement to start in the autumn of 2023 for a period of four years with an option to extend of up to two years up to a maximum duration of six years. The Council is seeking a suitably qualified Contractor to complete the external refurbishment works to Hanwell Chapel, a grade II listed building. The works include roof repairs to the vestry areas (including joist replacement), exterior stonework repairs, replacement rainwater goods and new fencing to the catacombs area. The work is required as the building is currently subject to water ingress and damp, without these works both the interior and exterior of the building will continue to deteriorate and result in more serious damage. The fencing is required to protect the structural integrity of the catacombs. The Planning and Listed Building consent for the works has been applied for, and decision is pending. The award of contract is subject to the necessary Planning and Listed Building Consent being approved.

The Authority is conducting a procurement for a design, build, operation and maintenance contract relating to the Notting Dale heat network (the “Procurement”). *This Contract Award relates to the Primary Network Construction Works and the Operation and Management Contract for the Primary Heat Network* The Notting Dale Heat Network (the “Heat Network”’/”Project”) is to be delivered and operated by a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) wholly owned by the Council, Notting Dale Heat Network Ltd. It is the Council’s ambition that it will be the most reliable and proactively maintained heat network in the UK. The initial phase of the Project is to serve the Lancaster West Estate (LWE) for which the intended heat users include around 800 residential units, a school, a large Council-owned leisure centre and business units for SMEs (Baseline Studios). The Project is anticipated to expand through future phases, which are currently being assessed. The Authority is obliged to conduct this procurement in full accordance with the Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016. The Authority will procure the Proposed Contract using the Negotiated Procedure with Prior Notice as set out in Regulation 47 of the UCR 2016, which provides a structure for this competitive tendering exercise.
