The Authority requires a high quality, compliant, resilient and cost-effective Hard FM service which supports the Authority in maintaining safe, operational and fit-for-purpose premises to enable effective Fire and Rescue service delivery. Delivery of a structured planned preventative maintenance (PPM) regime, informed by statutory requirement, recognised industry best practice (including SFG20 where appropriate), to ensure assets are maintained safely, compliantly and in line with operational risk and asset criticality. Delivery of responsive reactive maintenance and minor works, ensuring faults, defects and service issues are addressed promptly and effectively to minimise disruption and maintain operational continuity. Collaborative working with the Authority, supporting transparent decision-making, shared ownership of asset performance and the development of practical, proportionate solutions.

This procurement seeks to implement a one transparent, integrated, intuitive accounting system for account payable invoice processing, raising customer invoices, making supplier BACS payments, cash management, General Ledger Journals, AP/AR Journals, raising, authorising and converting requisitions into purchase order, chat of accounts and reporting, credit control/debt chasing, budget management. The system is also used to record customer and supplier data as they are set up on the system to make and receive payments.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue are enquiring if there are suppliers in the market that can provide support and maintenance for our Integrated Communication and Control Systems (DS3000 ICCS) before we issue a tender in December 2022. We are not looking to replace our DS3000 ICCS at this time, the request is for support and maintenance only. We wish to understand if there are others that can fully support our DS3000 ICCS system. The contract period we are considering is for 5 years or we may look to contract on a 1+1+1+1+1 basis.
