Rochdale Development Agency (RDA) are managing agents on behalf of Rochdale Borough Council for a number of properties and sites. RDA are looking to gauge interest for a grounds maintenance contract. The scope includes 10 industrial estates ranging in sizes but are predominantly small. Just over half of the sites require two visits per month during the growing season and the rest only require one visit per month.
The contract period will span over 2 years with a 12 month extension option also built in.

This service is hosted by Rochdale Borough Council Greater Manchester North Coronial jurisdiction currently has a service level agreement in place with the Northern Care Alliance and Royal Oldham Hospital Mortuary to provide a public mortuary facility and to fulfil the Coroner's post mortem examination requirements. The existing arrangements are only able to cater for invasive or external post mortem examinations only. There is currently no facility to provide a digital scanning service to complement the existing arrangements. Any digital scanning examinations undertaken currently are funded privately and not by the local authority.

Framework Agreement for Highways in House Support Services
Procurement of labour and plant resources to support the existing in-house highway delivery service. The in-house highway service delivers the councils revenue works consisting of reactive highway maintenance, drainage maintenance, out of hours call-out and winter service. RBC as part of an Environment Agency funded programme is delivering significant works throughout the locale of Wardleworth and is looking to create a community-venue which will contribute towards flood resilience and flood poverty work, through community engagement and educational programmes.
Project Summary:
Rochdale Borough Council is progressing the development of a new Special Educational Needs (SEN) Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) on the Mayfield Street site (Rochdale, OL16 2UZ). The new facility will deliver provision for 64 pupils aged 11-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The scheme aims to create a secure, high-quality, and therapeutically informed learning environment designed to support vulnerable pupils and enable staff to deliver specialist SEN provision effectively.
The project is currently completing RIBA Stage 3: Spatial Coordination, following completion of RIBA Stage 2. The Council now intends to procure a suitably experienced Design & Build Contractor to support the scheme's development through a two-stage procurement process.
Scope of Contractor Appointment:
The appointed contractor will:
• Participate in a competitive two-stage tender process, commencing with shortlisting of five contractors.
• Enter into a Pre-Construction Services Agreement (PCSA) at the start of RIBA Stage 4: Technical Design, working collaboratively with the client and design team to develop the design, plan construction activities, inform cost development, and support risk mitigation.
• Upon successful completion of the PCSA and agreement of contract sum, enter into a JCT Design & Build Contract 2024 for delivery of the construction works.
The contractor will be expected to demonstrate:
• Proven experience in delivering education project or similar public sector schemes.
