This works contract is for the design and construction of a new housing development on the Site, located at Laurel Hill, Coleraine, including all services and works necessary to deliver all new build housing and external works, inclusive of earthworks, drainage, utilities, landscaping, roads / footpaths / parking, gardens, fencing, rails and other ancillary works.

The proposed construction works contract is for a residential development of 27 social housing units on lands situated to the north of 78 Armagh Road, Newry, BT35 6PW, south of towpath to Bessbrook River/Newry Canal and east of Damolly Retail Park.
Development includes 22 General Needs Houses, 2 General Needs Apartments, 3 Wheelchair Houses, associated siteworks and drainage, roadways, footways, street lighting and provision of a sewage pumping station.
It is expected ALL social housing units built under this contract will achieve Secured by Design and Lifetime Homes accreditation and will also achieve EPC Rating ‘B’.
This scheme has planning approval for the construction of 27 homes for social rent (LA07/2016/0631/F) and is pending approval for the amendment of the main access road leading into the site from Drumgullion Avenue (LA07/2023/2497/F). It is anticipated that the amended planning application will be approved before invitations to tender are issued in November 2023.
The contract will be for approximately 18 months from date of award and is scheduled to start by March 2024.
The proposed construction works contract is for a residential development of 26no. social housing units on lands situated at 11-13 Circular Road, Coleraine, BT52 1QS.
Development includes 26no. CAT 1 apartments of which there will be 2no. 2-person, 1-bedroom wheelchair apartments, associated siteworks and drainage, roadways, footways and street lighting. A planning application has been submitted for the construction of 26no. homes for social rent.
It is expected ALL social housing units built under this contract will achieve Secured by Design and Lifetime Homes accreditation and will also achieve EPC Rating ‘A’.
The contract will be for approximately 24 months from date of award and is scheduled to start by March 2024.
The proposed construction works contract is for a residential development of 60 social housing units on lands situated on lands south of Old bridge housing estate, Derry/ L’Derry BT47 2TJ, located to the south of Derry City centre Development includes 48 General Needs Houses, 7 General Needs Apartments, 4 Wheelchair Houses, 1 wheel chair apartment, associated siteworks and drainage, roadways, footways, street lighting and provision. Planning application reference LA11/2022/0681/F was submitted in June 2022. Time is to be of the essence in delivering the Works and any failure by the Contractor to comply with the time limits for commencing or completing the works shall be deemed to be a substantial failure by the Contractor to comply with the contract giving the Employer a right to terminate the contract.
The contract, Blacks Gate Finishing Contract No.2 (BGFC2), is for the completion of 94 no. units on a partially completed, 244-unit, housing development. 107 units have been handed over to date with 43 being completed as part of Blacks Gate Finishing Contract No.1 (BGFC1). The 94 no. units will be completed as a standalone phase separate from the other units and FC1. The 94 no. units, in varying stages of completion, comprise of a mix of 75no. houses 14no. apartments, 3no. wheelchair bungalows, 1no. wheelchair apartment and 1 small community hub. The houses are a mix of 2 or 3 story units with a range of balconies and dormers across several units. It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded in late Summer 2024, with a 11-month contract (5 no. sections) period to completion. No more than 20 no. dwellings will be handed over to the Employer in any one section.
