National Citizen Service (NCS) - being recommissioned. Reed in Partnership currently delivers the National Citizen Service in the West Midlands lot and the East of England lot. The service is being recommissioned for delivery starting 2023, covering all regions of England. What is NCS? NCS is a once-in-a-lifetime experience delivered for young people aged 16-17. It will feature residential experiences (4 nights, 5 days), where young people engage in youth-led project-based challenges and activities. The objective is to support young people to be work-ready, engaged citizens, with an increased confidence, resilience and wellbeing whilst feeling a sense of belonging in the world and their communities. We are looking for partners who can: Deliver full end to end residential experience including all activities. Be Delivery partners and deliver all programme elements excluding residential. Career Transition Partnership (CTP) being recommissioned - Expression of Interest Opportunity Overview Reed in Partnership is planning to bid as a prime for the Career Transition Partnership, commissioned by the Ministry of Defence (MOD). Delivery is expected to commence in April 2024. The primary purpose of the Career Transition Partnership is to assist eligible regular and full-time reserve personnel leaving the Armed Forces to make a successful transition to civilian employment, including self-employment, or education, appropriate to their skills, knowledge, and experience and/or in accord with their aspirations. The Career Transition Partnership provides guidance, support, vocational training, and job finding elements delivered nationwide across all regions of the UK, including the Devolved Nations. We are seeking expressions of interest from: Training providers and Further Education Colleges, who provide vocational skills qualifications and courses. Organisations that provide transition support services, e.g. financial/budget management and debt advice, mental health support, overseas relocation/resettlement and integration activities. Reed in Partnership intends to bid for a number of Connect to Work opportunities as and when they are commissioned. We invite you to complete our EOI if you believe your organisation can also make a positive difference to the lives of people in your local community through helping them into sustainable work. Opportunity Overview Connect to Work is part of the Government's Get Britain Working Strategy. The programme will be commissioned locally by lead accountable bodies (e.g. Combined Authorities and Local Authorities). Connect to Work is a voluntary, high-fidelity Supported Employment programme in England and Wales, to help economically inactive people who want to work, to remove their barriers to work and find sustainable employment. Priority participants groups will be disabled people, people with health conditions and people in the specified cohorts. The specified cohorts are: Offenders or ex-offenders; carers or ex-carers; people who are homeless; a former member of the Armed Forces or partner of current/former Armed Forces personnel; a person with a drug/alcohol dependency; a care experienced young person or care leaver; a refugee, a resettled Afghan or a person on the Ukrainian scheme; a victim/survivor of domestic abuse; young persons identified as being involved/at risk of being involved in serious violence; victims of modern slavery. It is anticipated that 75% of participants will follow the Individual Placement & Support (IPS) model and 25% will follow the Supported Employment model. It is expected that delivery partners will follow the respective fidelity assurance systems (IPS and SEQF). We are seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from local organisations with experience of locally delivering: 1. IPS services 2. Supported Employment services 3. Proven employability services, supporting those who are furthest from the labour market 4. Interventions will be delivered through a range of channels including face-to-face, remote and digital, with tailored approaches prioritising the uptake and retention of Core20PLUS5 priority populations. We welcome applications from local VCFSE, statutory and non-statutory health providers, and other relevant educational/ research organisations, who can offer some or all of the following support to those from Core20PLUS priority populations: Core20PLUS5 lived experience co-production - working with the vulnerable communities you are experienced supporting, or through lived experienced networks already in place; this will support testing, tailoring and adapting Healthier You delivery approaches to meet their specific needs. Core20PLUS5 co-delivery - with Reed's support, deliver Healthier You interventions to Core20PLUS5 participant groups utilising your proven track record supporting these vulnerable residents. Reed in Partnership are seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from consultancies or organisations experienced in delivering specialist advice around community-led regeneration, neighbourhood capacity building, and place-based programme delivery. We are developing a bid for a significant central government programme focused on empowering communities in areas of high deprivation, and we are looking to identify partners who can contribute meaningfully to one or more elements of the delivery model. The programme centres on providing bespoke technical advice and guidance to community-led bodies, including support on: project feasibility, planning and design, asset management, governance, and community engagement, alongside structured leadership development, mentoring, and skills-building for local leaders and residents. Delivery will need to operate at national scale while retaining genuine local sensitivity and responsiveness, and so we are seeking organisations from across 284 places. We are particularly interested in hearing from organisations that combine a strong strategic and methodological offer with established local networks, delivery infrastructure, or practitioner capacity across multiple regions.
