The Contract is for the Provision of:• Lot 1 – An Alcohol/Violence Out of Court Disposal Intervention Scheme for offenders who commit acts of physical or verbal violence, excluding Domestic Abuse, against either persons or property, whilst under the influence of alcohol; and to provide basic treatment for the alcohol abuse and the underlying aggressive behaviour it triggers.• Lot 2 – An Alcohol and Domestic Abuse Out of Court Disposal Intervention Scheme for low level Domestic Abuse offenders, both intimate partner and wider family members, where the offences committed are accompanied/exacerbated by excessive consumption of alcohol. The intervention will integrate basic treatment for the alcohol abuse and the abusive behaviour.

The requirement is for a Contract for a comprehensive decontamination service as detailed in this specification to cover the total force area of the West Midlands, as and when required. The Contract will be for an initial period of two years with the option to extend for a further three periods of up to 12 months each, subject to the satisfactory performance of the Contractor.

West Midlands Police, on behalf of the Police and Crime Commissioner for West Midlands, are undertaking an open tender for The Provision of General Waste and Recycling Services.The requirement is for a Contract for a comprehensive General Waste and Recycling Service to cover the total force area of the West Midlands. The Authority currently operates from 7 different service level agreements with local suppliers. A new contract is being sourced with the aim of going to a single supplier for the provision of Waste Management.

New Chance is an intervention for women over 18 years, intended to divert them away from entering further into the criminal justice system. West Midlands Police are the single referring agency into the service and make referrals primarily through Out of Court Resolutions but may also make voluntary referrals where appropriate. The New Chance service aims to: - Divert women from the formal criminal justice process by providing an effective community-based alternative to prosecution or conviction and potential short custodial sentences.  - Address underlying and root issues contributing to offending behaviour, including but not limited to substance use, mental health, housing instability, domestic abuse and socio-economic factors, through support tailored to an individual woman’s needs.   - Provide trauma- and gender-responsive support that recognises and meets the specific needs of women in the criminal justice system, considering their individual experiences.  - Improve community safety by promoting rehabilitation, reducing re-offending rates and improving women’s outcomes e.g. education, training and employment and family relationships. Achieved through empowering women to lead safe and healthy lives.   - Work collaboratively with statutory and non-statutory community-based partners to ensure a coordinated multi-disciplinary approach that leverages local knowledge and resources to achieve the best outcomes for women.

The service will maximise the opportunities to engage people who are addicted to drugs and/or alcohol, in contact with the police, with treatment and other support services and will complement existing services.

West Midlands Police is inviting Tenderers for two distinct lots aimed at enhancing our understanding of our services to victims and wider public confidence in policing. The first lot focuses on procuring a Victim Insights Platform, while the second lot involves undertaking comprehensive Public Perception Surveying. This Invitation to Tender (“ITT”) has been issued by The Police and Crime Commissioner for West Midlands who are seeking to award a Contract for the provision of Veterinary Services for Police Dogs. The Requirement will be tendered a single supplier. West Midlands Violence Reduction Partnership (WMVRP) seeks to commission the delivery of community and peer-led research projects across a range of topics. Alongside evaluating programmes designed to reduce violence, conducting data analysis to understand local trends, and drawing on academic research about effective interventions for different groups, WMVRP is committed to involving communities and young people in the research process. Our aim is to gain valuable insights from young people, parents, carers and individuals with lived experience about what they believe will help address the challenges they face.

The Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) for the West Midlands is seeking a specialist delivery partner to offer a bespoke, trauma-informed support/bereavement service for individuals and families affected by fatal or life-changing road traffic collisions across the West Midlands. The service will provide emotional, practical, and advocacy support from point of referral through to recovery, ensuring a step-down approach in the form of peer support/group work which provides continuity of care beyond the remit of West Midlands Police (WMP) Family Liaison Officers (FLOs).

Service provides an out of court disposal (OOCR) to be given to an individual found in possession of a controlled drug. As an OOCR the intervention is an alternative to arrest and charge for possession. The expectation is that by undertaking the intervention there will be less chance of the individual continuing to use controlled substances.

West Midlands Violence Reduction Partnership are seeking to extend and develop new projects with a psychology services partner. To ensure continuity and resilience, we are seeking services from a team of psychologists rather than independent practitioners or a consortium approach which would provide the same assurance. The provider(s) will work with WM VRP to agree a delivery plan for 11 months (up to the end of March 2027), which will include the following activity: Delivering consultations, case formulations, clinical supervision and incident response. Delivering psychological advice, formulation and guidance to inform service development and intervention planning and evaluation. Developing psychologically informed toolkits, resources and practitioner guidance to support individuals and partnerships responsible for preventing and reducing violence across the region. Delivering workforce development training to embed evidence-based, psychologically informed best practice across the children and young people's workforce. Delivering specialist evidence-based, formulation driven psychological interventions, as required to meet the needs of new projects. Having the capacity to deliver NICE compliant, trauma-informed neurodevelopmental psychological assessments. Where required, physically embedding a psychologist in teams delivering interventions to high risk children and young people.
