The Police and Crime Commissioner for West Midlands as the Contracting Authority for West Midlands Police is seeking information to inform the procurement strategy for a future tender for a Forensic Case Management System (FCMS) to support the delivery of forensic science activities. There is a possibility that this may lead to a collaborative opportunity with other contracting authorities. The supplier market engagement is being held to explore if there are solutions, systems or innovations within the market place which may be able to provide the below and inform the future procurement strategy and/or specification: Support all forensic science activities, including digital forensics, enabling the end-to-end management of forensic cases from submission through examination, reporting, review, and finalisation. Support evidential integrity, continuity, and full auditability across multiple forensic disciplines. Capable of integration with existing force systems, including Command and Control, Records Management and Property Management systems, to enable secure and efficient data exchange, reduce duplication, and support operational policing requirements. Provide the capability to securely store, manage, and retrieve forensic imagery and documentation, including photographs, reports, exhibits, and associated materials, with appropriate access controls, versioning, and audit trails. Functionality to support quality management, including compliance with applicable forensic standards and regulatory requirements, audit processes, non-conformance management, and continuous improvement. An integrated asset register is required to record, manage, and track forensic assets, tools, and equipment, including calibration, maintenance, and lifecycle information. Comprehensive management information and reporting, including configurable dashboards and reporting tools to support operational, performance, and strategic oversight. Ability to support automation, including workflow management, task allocation, alerts, and automated retention and disposal of records and digital material in line with legislative, regulatory, and force retention policies. The future engagement may also test feasibility, potential commercials and delivery models. The Office of the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner wants to commission an Enterprising for Employment service for Birmingham. This initiative will provide a personalised, effective mentoring service for individuals associated with criminality, to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to be employable and/or an entrepreneur.

West Midlands Police requires a group of Bodyshops to provide a rapid accident repair service for the whole fleet including marked and unmarked vehicles. The Authority currently has a fleet of approximately 1520 vehicles which is made up of all makes and models.

The successful bidder will be required to work alongside representatives from WMP and relevant 3rd parties, to implement and configure the system to the requirements of WMP, including the provision of appropriate resources to support this.

West Midlands Arrest Referral Service 1

New Chance is an intervention for women over 18 years, intended to divert them away from entering further into the criminal justice system. West Midlands Police are the single referring agency into the service and make referrals primarily through Out of Court Resolutions but may also make voluntary referrals where appropriate. The New Chance service aims to: - Divert women from the formal criminal justice process by providing an effective community-based alternative to prosecution or conviction and potential short custodial sentences.  - Address underlying and root issues contributing to offending behaviour, including but not limited to substance use, mental health, housing instability, domestic abuse and socio-economic factors, through support tailored to an individual woman’s needs.   - Provide trauma- and gender-responsive support that recognises and meets the specific needs of women in the criminal justice system, considering their individual experiences.  - Improve community safety by promoting rehabilitation, reducing re-offending rates and improving women’s outcomes e.g. education, training and employment and family relationships. Achieved through empowering women to lead safe and healthy lives.   - Work collaboratively with statutory and non-statutory community-based partners to ensure a coordinated multi-disciplinary approach that leverages local knowledge and resources to achieve the best outcomes for women.

The West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner (WMPCC) is seeking a specialist provider, or consortium of providers, to deliver an outcome focused, high quality and person-centred Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA) service for victims of domestic abuse (DA) aged 16 and over across the West Midlands region who are men.

Domestic Abuse - Sexual Assault and Abuse Services Framework - Inviting feedback on draft specifications

The Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) for the West Midlands is seeking a specialist delivery partner to offer a bespoke, trauma-informed support/bereavement service for individuals and families affected by fatal or life-changing road traffic collisions across the West Midlands. The service will provide emotional, practical, and advocacy support from point of referral through to recovery, ensuring a step-down approach in the form of peer support/group work which provides continuity of care beyond the remit of West Midlands Police (WMP) Family Liaison Officers (FLOs).

Service provides an out of court disposal (OOCD) to be given to an individual found in possession of a controlled drug. As an OOCD the intervention is an alternative to arrest and charge for possession. The expectation is that by undertaking the intervention there will be less chance of the individual continuing to use controlled substances.
