This Invitation to Tender is being issued by the Police and Crime Commissioner for Surrey (Surrey PCC) on behalf of itself and the Police and Crime Commissioner for Sussex to select a suitable supplier for the provision of Digital Forensic Services. The Contract(s) will be awarded for 2 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years, with a potential combined annual value across both PCCs/Force areas (Surrey Police and Sussex Police) of £1.3million.

The Forensic Science Regulator (FSR) timeline for achieving compliance with statutory regulations means that a number of business areas within Surrey Police and Sussex Police are either currently already accredited or are looking to become accredited or compliant with the FSR’s Code of Practice. As such the demand upon the current Quality Management System (QMS) being used, has never been so high and is only due to continue to expand as more units/sites and departments seek to become accredited and become fully engaged with the accreditation process and meeting statutory requirements Issued by the Police and Crime Commissioner for Surrey on behalf of itself and the Police and Crime Commissioner for Sussex (together “the Contracting Authority”) who are seeking to award a Contract for the provision of an Electronic Quality Management System (eQMS). The Requirement will be tendered for a single Supplier. The Contract Term shall be for a period of 5 years with the option to extend by a further two 12 month periods. We are anticipating the tender to be advertised on the w/c 17th March.

Surrey Police and Sussex Police are inviting vendors to provide information on the potential for a system to be designed and developed to manage the processing of DBS checks.  

Surrey and Sussex Police require advanced digital forensic tools to support investigations involving digital evidence. We are particularly looking at where automation and solutions can provide the following: - Rapid extraction and analysis of digital evidence - Support for a wide range of devices and data formats - Integration with existing forensic workflows - Enhanced reporting capabilities for court presentation - Improved efficiency and accuracy in investigations

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Surrey ("the Authority") is looking to establish and ascertain the level of market and supplier capability, interest, and experience with the provision of a bespoke and police centred call centre simulation and assessment platform. The system is to be used by the Surrey Police Contact Centre and Force Control Room as part of their pre-employment recruitment programme.
