North Wales Police & North Wales Fire & Rescue Service seek the services of an experienced and qualified contractor who will be able to provide both planned ground maintenance services, reactive work for example tree cutting, and minor works to support the continued tidiness and care of gardens/grassed areas/boarders etc across the estate along with control of invasive species. Where Biodiversity project grass cutting regimes have been assigned to sites, the designated grassed areas will be allowed to grow between April and August each year to increase the habitat area available to pollinators and other species. A good standard of workmanship and shall always comply with Health and Safety legislative requirements, good working horticultural and arboriculture practice, relevant British Standards and Codes of Practice and legislative requirements. The Contractor shall ensure that all goods and materials used or supplied, and all the workmanship shall be at least to the standard required by the appropriate British Standard Specification or British Standard Code of Practice. North Wales Police have 29 police locations/sites across the North Wales Region that require the services of a suitably qualified contractor to provide gritting services and snow removal throughout the colder months of the year. Once the trigger level is anticipated by data pulled from a recognised weather meteorological office the contractor will email their plans to a scheduled visit and gritting of named sites for that evening. Note that North Wales Police will have the option to cancel any scheduled visit weekdays; up to 12noon on day of report but will agree to automatically allow entrance to locations on a Saturday or Sunday as access to emails will be limited out of normal office hours. North Wales seek to source the professional services of a qualified architect to work with the project manager for the Deeside Police Station new build. North Wales Police wish to build a Police Station on the existing site at Wepre Drive, Connah’s Quay, Deeside, Flintshire. Capital Project at Deeside consisting of providing a temp Police Station, demolition of existing Police Station and construction of a new Police Station and associated external works. This will be a design and build process for the construction and a separate tender process will take once planning is approved, we will then novate the architect over to the awarded construction contractor. All personnel who will be involved in the works will have to be security vetted through Warwickshire National Vetting Services. North Wales Police, Cumbria Constabulary, Lancashire Constabulary and Lincolnshire Police require a 24-hour single call out service for vehicle recovery on each and every day of the year. NWP are looking for a managed service provider to deliver the service, and will need to undertake all the call handling ensuring that they are suitably equipped and staffed by personnel preferably dedicated to the operation of the Contract.
