North Wales Police seek an experienced building construction company - the project will comprise of a full new build including foundations, external works, drainage, and parking. The building will be three storeys high and 1154m2. North Wales Police have an aspiration to achieve Net Carbon Zero 'in-use' therefore the heating systems must be Electric, the building must achieve EPC 'A' rating and an Air Tightness of at least 5m3/h/m2 at 50 pa. The project does not need to achieve a BREEAM accreditation. We are at RIBA stage 3 and have included the concept drawings and expect planning to be approved later this year. Contract for the provision of supply and installing Lockers. North Wales Police need to purchase several styles of lockers to be used across the force's region. These lockers are needed to support officers in storing their personal belongings, their uniform and kit plus electrical devices in a secure environment and providing the added benefit of allowing them to charge their equipment within the locker. All lockers will be supplied and installed by the vendor, and they will remove and take away all packaging waste. Having a fully operational fire alarm is a regulatory requirement for those premises that need them, which is why regular testing is important. The contractor needs to be able to maintain Honeywell Alarm Systems and to provide details of previous experience working on this product. The contractor will be responsible for service of each alarm and test against the schedule provided by the electrical service engineer and to maintain them and ensure they meet fire regulation standards. The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for North Wales (Commissioners) are welcoming tender applications for the contract of three sub-regional Independent Domestic Violence Advisory (IDVA) services. The Contractor shall provide a single IDVA Service across the North Wales Force area. The IDVAs shall work to address the safety of people at high risk of domestic abuse from intimate partners, ex-partners and family members to secure their safety and the safety of their children. Operating as the primary point of contact, IDVAs typically work with their clients from the point of crisis to assess the risk, review options, and develop and implement plans to address their immediate safety, as well as longer-term solutions. The service will increase safety and reduce the long-term impact to victims, improve outcomes and adopt a whole family approach to risk management by working in partnership with relevant organisations. We have an expectation of a high level of partnership-working and welcome a consortium approach to project delivery. If a consortium bid is submitted, one provider must function as a lead contractor, and they will be accountable for all elements of delivery, monitoring and funding. This tender process concerns a contract for a criminal justice focused Independent Domestic Violence Advisory (IDVA) service for the Police and Crime Commissioner for North Wales (the "Commissioner"). The Commissioner is leading the commissioning of the service in the North Wales Police force areas on behalf of the Police and Crime Commissioner for North Wales, the Violence Against Women and Girls and Sexual Violence (VAWDASV) Regional Team and local authority partners. The budget has been confirmed for year 1 of the contract. The Police and Crime Commissioners for North Wales have been approached by the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) to work with them as part of the Ministers desire to extend the existing Family Court Pathfinder. This expansion will now see the Pathfinder covering the Designated Family Judge (DFJ) area of North Wales. Funding will be provided by the MoJ and awarded via a competed fund managed by North Wales PCC. This funding will go towards providing a domestic abuse support service-referral pathway as part of Pathfinder. Pathfinder requires that domestic abuse support providers undertake Domestic Abuse, Stalking a Honour Based Violence (DASH) assessment with victim-survivors referred to them by Cafcass/Cafcass Cymru and provide in-court IDVA support to those who need them. Local discretion can be applied in terms of any additional services the domestic abuse support service may provide.

North Wales Police & North Wales Fire & Rescue Service seek the services of an experienced and qualified contractor who will be able to provide both planned ground maintenance services, reactive work for example tree cutting, and minor works to support the continued tidiness and care of gardens/grassed areas/boarders etc across the estate along with control of invasive species. Where Biodiversity project grass cutting regimes have been assigned to sites, the designated grassed areas will be allowed to grow between April and August each year to increase the habitat area available to pollinators and other species. North Wales Police have 29 police locations/sites across the North Wales Region that require the services of a suitably qualified contractor to provide gritting services and snow removal throughout the colder months of the year. Once the trigger level is anticipated by data pulled from a recognised weather meteorological office the contractor will email their plans to a scheduled visit and gritting of named sites for that evening. Note that North Wales Police will have the option to cancel any scheduled visit weekdays; up to 12noon on day of report but will agree to automatically allow entrance to locations on a Saturday or Sunday as access to emails will be limited out of normal office hours.
