Places for People Group are seeking applications from qualified and experienced legal firms to be appointed to a 4-year framework agreement. The framework agreement will consist of 3 Lots providing legal services for the Developments division of the business, in a cost effective and efficient way for the next 4 years, ending in 2030. This will ensure stability of service delivery and provide an element of cost certainty for the business. The areas of service required will be for England, Wales and Scotland, consequently we have decided to split lots into services based on region. There are 3 lots in total and will consist of: England and Wales – Lot 1- Developments General (5 firms to be appointed) Lot 2- Developments Disputes (3 firms to be appointed) Scotland – Lot 3- Developments General and Disputes (3 firms to be appointed) On all Developments legal services UK wide, we anticipate the value of the contract (based on addressable spend) to be approximately £7 million (per annum). Further Contracts awarded under the Framework for either Places for People Group companies’ members will be awarded in accordance with either the Direct Award or Competitive Award Procedure as described in the Framework Agreement.

Places for People Living+ sought a Main Contractor to finalise the design and undertake the build, that can complete the delivery of change of use of Community Support Centre to residential specialist apartments and staff accommodation with associated internal and external works. The new works will comprise the construction of residential units together with associated plot external works and where appropriate the relevant infrastructure works.

Citizen New Homes Limited (Citizen) are developing (on behalf of Citizen Housing Group Limited) a site known as Faseman House, Faseman Avenue, Coventry, CV4 9QP. A sole contractors was sought for works comprising of design and construction and completion of a residential development of 50 apartments over 3 storeys for supported housing; along with associated external works and infrastructure work.

Yorkshire Housing required a contract for a project comprised of the design, construction and handover of 37Nr new domestic dwellings together with site preparation, mains drainage, utility installations as well as associated external works and landscaping.

Places for People Group wishes to establish a Framework Agreement for Repairs and Planned Works and Windows/Doors component replacements for a three (3) year term with the ability to extend the contract period by a further two (2) one (1) year periods at the Client’s sole discretion. Experienced suppliers are invited to submit Tenders for the framework agreement, which will encompass Planned and Responsive Works and Services as defined by the CPV codes set out in the Contract Notice.

Muir Group required support from Mould/Damp/Condensation contractors with skilled tradespersons to assist in delivering a survey and installation Service.

Places for People Scotland sought to appoint a supplier to deliver their programme of works for Blindwells, East Lothian. The programme of works requires the supply and installation of windows for new build properties for both social rent and the open market.

Places for People are seeking to establish a 4 year Framework Agreement for the supply of Kitchens to be used by various Group businesses. The Framework will involve both supply only and supply and install. Lots 1-4 are for Assets and Investments on a regional supply only basis. Kitchens will be purchased by either the internal DLO or external contractors. Successful suppliers must therefore be able to agree national prices that will be available to both internal and external contractors when purchasing on behalf of Places for People. If an applicant does not have their own branch network they must be prepared to supply both directly and via the appointed Places for People merchant partner(s) for storage and collection or for onward distribution to Places for People sites as required. Places for People’s appointed merchant is currently Travis Perkins. To bid for Lot 5 suppliers must be able to supply and install on a national basis.
