If an applicant does not have their own branch network they must be prepared to supply both directly and via the appointed Places for People merchant partner(s) for storage and collection or for onward distribution to Places for People sites as required. Places for People’s appointed merchant is currently Travis Perkins. To bid for Lot 5 suppliers must be able to supply and install on a national basis.

Procurement Hub, part of Places for People Group, are seeking applications from qualified suppliers and contractors of gas servicing, maintenance and compliance who can provide high quality services using a customer focused approach particularly in the public sector to create an end to end Heating Systems Framework. It is anticipated that the services will be provided by the supplier themselves and via their supply chain of subcontractors and consultants. The specific works and services that may be procured under the Framework will be vast and wide ranging in terms of complexity, value and scope. The provision of gas servicing, maintenance and installations to domestic properties. The annual service is to include servicing of all appliances in the property and produce a landlord’s gas safety record (LGSR) for the Client. In addition to the service, the boilers are to be maintained on a 3* cover basis. The Framework will also include supply, installation, maintenance and testing of alternative heating systems including, but not limited, to Air Source Heat Pumps, Ground Source Heat Pumps, electric systems, LPG and oil as well servicing, maintenance and installations to commercial properties.

Thirteen Group sought a consultant for the design and construction liability to deliver dwellings each with a warranty from NHBC, LABC or other agreed provider in line with Thirteen development programme targets including any Sectional Completion arrangements specified in the Employers Requirements.

Places for People Group are seeking applications from qualified and experienced legal firms to be appointed to a 4-year framework agreement. The framework agreement will consist of 3 Lots providing legal services for the Developments division of the business, in a cost effective and efficient way for the next 4 years, ending in 2030. This will ensure stability of service delivery and provide an element of cost certainty for the business. The areas of service required will be for England, Wales and Scotland, consequently we have decided to split lots into services based on region. There are 3 lots in total and will consist of: England and Wales – Lot 1- Developments General (5 firms to be appointed) Lot 2- Developments Disputes (3 firms to be appointed) Scotland – Lot 3- Developments General and Disputes (3 firms to be appointed) On all Developments legal services UK wide, we anticipate the value of the contract (based on addressable spend) to be approximately £7 million (per annum). Further Contracts awarded under the Framework for either Places for People Group companies’ members will be awarded in accordance with either the Direct Award or Competitive Award Procedure as described in the Framework Agreement.
