The current opportunity is to knock three offices (including the current Council Chamber) into one and provide a quality finish in wood paneling as shown in the plans.
Trunking for future AV requirements will need to be included behind the paneling, but AV will be considered in a future phase. AV locations are included in the plans attached.

It is believed that The Heath Toilets were build sometime in the 1940-50s, and are built with traditional materials of brick and tiles with a typical layout of mens and ladies toilets as well as a disabled toilet and baby changing facility which was added sometime later.
The plan for the refurbished Heath Toilets is to use the current structure, re-arranging the internal layout and extending to add further facilities such as an adult changing room as well as a large storage area for PTC use.
We are looking for the refurbishment to be more climate-friendly and fit for purpose involving updating and optimizing its design, materials, and technologies to reduce its environmental impact, improving energy efficiency, and ensuring it meets modern needs. This approach will not only help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and operating costs but also enhance the building's functionality, comfort, and resilience against changing environmental conditions. By focusing on sustainable materials, energy-efficient systems, and innovative design strategies, we are looking for a refurbishment that will contribute to a healthier, more sustainable future of the building while providing a space that better serves the users and adapts to their evolving needs.
Petersfield Town Council would like to receive tenders via email (projects@petersfield-tc.gov.uk) or via post by 15 December 2024 and a decision on the successful contractor should be made by 30 January 2025
Penns Place has several sports pitches and a leisure centre and had, up until recently, a play area. The play area was well used by visiting families and now needs to be re-established. The brief provides examples of play equipment that the Town Council would like to introduce but the end result is not limited to the kind of play equipment shown. Outdoor music or percussion instruments could also be considered, as well as alternative accessible and general equipment to the examples listed. Shaded areas should also be considered.
There is only the one document for this contract - the brief, and contractors are invited to submit their thoughts on how this may be designed in the area designated. We are happy to arrange visits to the designated area, and it is worth noting that the play area may need to be moved in 5 years time to make way for an extension to the Taro Leisure Centre should this go ahead.
We are looking for a multi-purpose, well designed, themed and climate friendly play area that can support all childhood ages.
Petersfield Town Council received RIBA 3 planning approval for the refurbishment of the Festival Hall which is currently a hall for hire but fast becoming the central focal point for all kinds of performances and community events. Before they embarked on what could be a £20m refurbishment, as part of a business plan, they wish to engage a consultant to carry out a full economic and cultural benefit study in line with the Governments Green Book and DCMS guidelines.
