Peel Ports uses SAP Plant Maintenance for the planning and execution of maintenance activities across all its sites. We are looking to research the market for possible opportunities to deploy mobile solutions for this platform across all our engineering and maintenance teams.
The solution sought must also provide interaction with our asset data, to provide engineers and technicians with asset information held in SAP. We also require that asset data collected in the field is synchronized back to our SAP databases.
General Construction and Marine Construction Frameworks

Peel Ports are looking to award partnering construction frameworks lasting up to 8 years. The frameworks will predominantly deliver general construction, civil engineering and marine construction works on a design and build basis.
The new frameworks represent a collaborative approach with the supply chain. Underpinned by a NEC 4 form of contract where options A, C and E are all available. This will provide both flexibility to the business and early opportunities for the supply chain to contribute to the design and constructability solutions for our varied projects.
Third Party Labour – UK, focused on Medway, Merseyside and Humberside
Peel Ports owns and operates six of the UK’s most important ports (Port of Liverpool, Heysham Port, Manchester Ship Canal, Medway (Sheerness / Chatham), Clydeport (Greenock, Hunterston, Ardrossan) and Great Yarmouth). It also operates a container terminal in Dublin, and facilities in Ellesmere Port and Humberside.
In each of these locations, third party labour provision is required in order to support ongoing port operations. As such, Peel Ports Investments Limited is engaging in market research with a view to launching a regulated competitive tender process at a later date for the award of a Third Party Labour contract.

Both hard and soft woods are currently being used in production, but Peel Ports require a more sustainable product and as such are considering working with and manufacturing from composite materials.
