It also allows flexibility over the weather, long days frequently 9 am to 9 pm, only breaking for meals. # Field Studies Council is an environmental education charity who can provide field work and outdoor learning courses in a number of locations that are fully equipped to deal with group laboratory facilities, equipment needed for biological field work and dormitory accommodation.
The University's procurement of promotional items is split into two distinct categories, serving different needs and audiences.
First, there are high-volume, frequently purchased products. These items, which can be branded or unbranded, are essential for daily use and events. They are given away at events or used by staff and students. Historic examples include pens, wristbands, bags, confectionery, reusable mugs, water bottles, notebooks, lanyards, and branded apparel like hoodies and polo shirts.
Second, the University sources premium and luxury products. These are higher-quality items, often sold to alumni through the University's online shop or given as gifts by members of the Vice Chancellor Group (VCG). Past examples include ties, cufflinks, pen sets, business card holders, and china cups.
Please note that these examples are not exhaustive. The University expects suppliers to provide a wide range of new and popular items throughout the contract's duration.
The University is issuing a direct award transparency notice because of the significant time and cost involved in setting up an e-store for staff and students. This new platform, which has only recently been completed, will now be trialed across the university.
Students will be having the virtual study trips delivered to them. This trip is open to any MSc student at OBBS. All interactions are via Zoom. Leaders and managers from various organisations from around the world are contracted to meet our students and give them an insight into how theory can be implemented into practice. This initiative is in line with our strategy to enhance experiential learning at OBBS. Cost of contract may alter due to number of virtual trips and student numbers over the years. It has been estimated on 2 trips a year of around 100 students based on a 3 year contract.

The contract will be for a minimum period of five (5) years. The awarded supplier will need to attend University events such as Freshers Week (towards the end of September each year) and arrange ad hoc sample sessions and pop-up shops at the Brookes Centre for Sport & Active Wellness, Sports Fair and Varsity / key BUCS fixture weeks.
To provide a Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) system. This system will be used for scientific research involving both patient and non-patient groups, as well as for teaching and demonstration purposes. The TMS system will play a crucial role in research, teaching and for demonstration purposes. The supplier will be responsible for the installation, with regular servicing, and maintenance of the system as a desirable aspect, and will also provide occasional support for integration with other research equipment (such as interfacing with EEG, delivery of TMS pulse based on stimulus properties).
