Oswestry Town Council are asking companies to submit their tender application for Alterations and Improvements to English Walls Public Toilets.
Oswestry Town Council have carried out the design stage of this project to make alterations to the current public toilet building to also allow the installation of a changing places facility.
Applications that meet the criteria as set out in the tender document will be considered by elected members in October, with the view that the awarded contractor will be selected.
The anticipated start date is November 2023, with the anticipated end date being March 2024.

Oswestry Town Council are committed to reduce the carbon footprint within the town and to upgrade street lighting within its area, and elected Members have agreed for the upgrade to proceed.
There are multiple streetlights within the town that the Council are responsible for, of which an inventory is available. These are to be upgraded to LED over a 12 month period.
The Council are also looking to enter a contracted agreement with a qualified company, to carry out any repair and maintenance work to streetlights when the need arises, in a timely manner.

Oswestry Town Council is seeking costed proposals from suitable companies to carry out cleaning duties of its public toilets, of which it is responsible.
Oswestry Town Council has two facilities that require regular cleaning, at Welsh Walls and nearby in Cae Glas Park.
The Council is looking to enter a two-year contracted agreement with a suitable company, to carry out cleaning of these facilities, with the option to extend for a further one-year based on service satisfaction.
