Orbit is seeking to source a suitable single provider/broker to cover and manage Orbit's Insurance requirements.
The provider should be able to cover at a minimum the insurance services marked with a * below and ideally, all lines of insurance. However, where this is not possible, options will be reviewed.
Tender submissions will be sought from service providers for Insurance Policies for Orbit to commence on 1st April 2026. Orbit requires the contract to be provided on a 3 + 2 + 2 year long term agreement with provision of a claim's performance bonus or risk management fund for Orbit.
The policy will then renew annually from 1st April every subsequent year of cover.
All full premiums are required to be quoted on an annual basis, confirm where rates are guaranteed and for how long, be net of commission and all discounts, IPT and VAT where applicable must be shown separately but also included. Any brokerage fees should be noted separately but also included. Any commissions or brokerage fees should be made explicitly clear and subject to prior agreement of Orbit.

Delivery of a financial inclusion service to c5000 Orbit residents as part of Orbit’s Better Days Programme.
We are seeking to partner with a single organisation or consortium of providers with single lead provider to deliver a money advice and income maximisation service to cover our three regions of the midlands, east and south-east of England.
Case work is expected to help navigate and guide the customer through a full journey of dealing with urgent issues, developing and maintaining a budget, maximising their incomes and helping to reduce their expenditure.

The contract will commence April 2024 for a period of 2 years with an option to extend for a further 1 year.
The purpose is to complete Remedial Works to external walkways, including walkway replacement and fire safety works.
Works will consist of the design and replacement of this existing walkway decking with new, design and replacement of the front doors and windows from the flats that lead out on to the walkways with new fire-resistant installations, installation of new fire doors to the escape stair well and general repairs to the existing building, and provide a safe access method in order to remove the wood board floor and any combustible structural material. This is to be replaced with more suitable fire-resistant material.

Orbit is seeking a qualified utility (energy) broker to manage and optimise our utility services
for our gas and electricity ‘landlord supplies’ in England. The contract is split into two lots as
follows:
Lot 1 - Energy Management Service
Lot 2 - Empty Homes Utility Management Service
The contract is due to commence on 1st October 2024 for a period of 12 months with 2 x
options to extend for a further 24 months (1+2+2).

Contract is for delivery of around 3000 customer telephone interviews annually on our behalf, as part of our programme of Tenant satisfaction measure (TSM) perceptions survey. The contract will commence from 1st April 2026.
Orbit are looking to replace 23 printers and multifunctional devices which have reached their end-of-life. We have decided to ask our incumbent supplier Toshiba for the replacements. The contract will last for 3 year plus 2 year extension so we can maximise the use of the 23 new devices supplied, plus maximise the existing assets towards end of life.
