These services are being commissioned by the Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire Violence Reduction Unit (NNVRU) – part of the Nottinghamshire Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC). The objective is to support children and young people (CYP) who may be at risk of involvement in serious violence with improved mental health and wellbeing and improved behaviours, thus reducing the risk factors associated with violent crime and helping to build community resilience.
Framework Agreement
It is the intention of the Nottinghamshire Police and Crime Commissioner (The PCC) to set up a Framework Agreement (Framework) for the provision of these services for a period of 4 years. Bidding organisations who pass the evaluation stage of the tender process will be appointed to the Framework.

This service is split into 2 lots and will be commissioned to undertake the following:
Lot 1 therapeutic counselling for Children and Young People (CYP)
Lot 2 therapeutic counselling for CYP which provides culturally specific interventions to meet individual needs and address social issues supporting Black, Asian, Minority, Ethnic and Refugee Communities (BAMER). This will offer a perspective for issues faced by the individual including cultural barriers, confusion and identity.

The service is being commissioned by the Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire Violence Reduction Unit (NNVRU) – part of the Nottinghamshire Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC). The OPCC and NNVRU seek a Provider to design, promote and deliver training for partners from the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) in Level 1 and accredited Level 2, and Level 3 Youth Work, to achieve the National Occupational Standards and improve the quality of youth provision provided by the VCS in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
