Nottingham Community Housing Association Ltd (NCHA Ltd) are seeking a contractor to undertake the construction of a new housing development at Highfield Street, Coalville under a JCT Design and Build contract with works commencing on site as soon as possible following the completion of this tender.
For the avoidance of doubt, NCHA will require the new contractor to take full liability for all works, pre and post appointment.
Highfield Street is a development of 22 new homes (6no 2 bed houses, 6no 3 bed houses and 10no 1 bed maisonettes) with all 22 of the units marketed by NCHA Ltd for Affordable Rent.
NCHA Ltd can prove title with planning permission for the proposed development obtained on April 6th 2023 (a copy of the permission is included in the tender documents).

Nottingham Community Housing Association ('NCHA') sought expressions of interest from suitably skilled and experienced suppliers for the delivery of responsive repairs works across its entire stock in Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire (circa 10,400 units). The contract was awarded to a single Service Provider under a 10-year TPC Measured Term Contract (with a schedule of amendments) with the option to extend by up to a further five years. The value of the Contract awarded was c. £75m, but additional optional works in scope may be included at a later stage.
The contract included an option to support NCHA's in-house team in the delivery of voids and planned works.
