Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA) currently has a contract for the supply and maintenance of CCTV across many of our properties spread geographically across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Rutland.
NCHA would like to inform potential suppliers via this Preliminary Market Engagement notice that we are seeking to procure supplier(s) for our CCTV services. The services will include:
• The upgrading existing equipment
• Maintenance of newly installed and existing equipment
• Servicing of newly installed and existing equipment
• Installation services including transfer of equipment to other sites
• Decommissioning
• CCTV signage
• Temporary/dummy cameras.
The new contract term will be determined following the market engagement exercise.
The contract value is estimated at £1.6 - £3m.
Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA) houses more than 20,000 people across the East Midlands. We manage approximately 10,000 homes in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Rutland. In addition to providing social housing, NCHA also provides Care and Support facilities across the east midlands.
This procurement will be subject to Section 20 consultations, there is no stipulation on the route to market at this stage and so our prospective timeline (which is subject to change) is as follows:
June 2025 - Preliminary Marketing Engagement Notice
June 2025- finish July 2025- Stage 1 Section 20 consultation
October 2025 - Procurement to be open for a period of 6 weeks
Mid November - Mid December 2025- Tenders Evaluated
November/December 2025 - Stage 2 Section 20 consultation
January-March 2026 - Award Contract, standstill and mobilisation
April 2026 - Contract Start

The purpose of this service is to enable NCHA to quickly and easily gather photographs from customers of repairs being reported. With the image being easily linked to the created job number within our MRI repairs platform.
The photo must be accessible for our colleagues and be provided to our operative mobile devices in advance of a job being carried out.
