E1189 - PROVISION OF LEGAL SERVICES FOR PUBLIC LIABILITY CLAIMS RM6240 - CROWN COMMERCIAL SERVICE - PUBLIC SECTOR LEGAL SERVICES - LOT 1C - NORTHERN IRELAND
The Housing Executive carried out a Further Competition from Lot 1C of the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) Framework Agreement entitled RM6240 - Public Sector Legal Services which established a single member Solicitors Panel to meet all of the requirements of the Housing Executive in relation to Public Liability Claims throughout Northern Ireland.
Provision of Fuel Cards and Associated Services. This contract was awarded as a Call Off contract from the Crown Commercial Services Framework Agreement entitled 'RM6186 - Fuel Cards and Associated Services VI'.
Please note the vast majority of spend via this contract will be for the fuel that is purchased via the Fuel Cards provided.
The purpose of this procurement exercise is to establish a two member Framework, covering the whole of Northern Ireland, to meet all of the requirements of the Housing Executive for external solicitors in connection with construction, works and services
related commercial contracts ("the Services" as defined and particularised in the Specification of Requirements).
Since this will be a Framework, the Housing Executive will not be obliged to procure its legal services exclusively from it and will be free to either use its own in-house legal service provision, or to procure legal services outside this Framework.
Also, the Contract Value stated in this notice is the value estimated to be incurred on the solicitor professional fees during the Framework Period.
P-1038 - Professional Services (all stages from survey through to completion on site) in relation to MEI at Moatview Park and Breda Road, Belfast.
To appoint a suitably qualified and competent multi-disciplinary team to carry out services including, but not limited to survey, management of works on site, through to agreement of final account and defects period, in relation to Moatview Park/Breda Road MEI.
The Housing Executive wishes to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor
to provide an occupational health service to Housing Executive staff as described in the
Specification and in accordance with the Housing Executive’s Conditions of Contract
included with the Tender Documentation.
The Housing Executive requires a provision of protective insurance cover for a number of areas. Full details can be found within the attached tender documents. Please note the requirement does not include insurance broking services.
Periodic Electrical Inspection and Testing to Domestic Properties
In accordance with the Procurement Policy Note 01/21 – Social Value in Procurement, this Contract will deliver measurable social value outcomes. Under this Procurement the Suppliers will be required to support the Contracting Authority's social value objectives. Accordingly, Contract performance conditions and/or Award Criteria may relate to social value. The works to be provided under this contract will consist of Electrical Inspection and Testing of the 'fixed' electrical parts of electrical installations within NIHE's Domestic properties, to be checked (periodically inspected and tested) by a qualified and competent person within a 5-year planned cycle. The electrical installations must meet the required standards, as per BS7671, the Requirements for Electrical Installations, set out within the IET Wiring Regulations 18th Edition, as amended and current at the time works. The Contractors will record any non-compliances with BS7671, as amended and use observation classification codes, C1, C2, C3 and FI to indicate where remedial work and/or further investigation must be undertaken. If observations are made with the electrical installation, requiring classification codes C1, C2 and FI, then remedial work will be required, these remedial works should be undertaken by the Contractor during the completion of the inspection and testing. Upon completion of the remedial works relating to observations classified as C1, C2 and FI, the Contractor must issue a fully completed Electrical Installation Condition Report with a Satisfactory overall assessment of the installation in terms of its suitability for continued use. The Electrical Installation Condition Report is to be completed utilisng electrical certification computer software, that has the capability to produce and provide electronic copies of electrical installation and inspection and testing certificates, EICRs, fully compliant with the requirements of the Model Forms for Certification and Reporting contained within the IET Wiring Regulations, BS 7671, as amended and current at the time of the works. Provision of Adjustment Factors for NIHE Housing Stock
Tenders were invited for the provision of adjustment factors for the valuation of NIHE housing stock as described in the Specification and in accordance with the Housing Executive’s Conditions of Contract included with the Tender Documentation.

The Northern Ireland Housing Executive ("the Housing Executive") requires the services of a Retained Solicitor ("the Contractor") for a single member Ejectments and Debt
Recovery Solicitors Panel ("the Panel") to cover the whole of Northern Ireland. Please note that although a Contract Award Notice is being used the Services required are exempt from the Procurement Act 2023 (The Act) as per Schedule 2 paragraph 14 of The Act. Therefore the Services being procured are not deemed 'Light Touch'. Also, the Contract Value stated in this notice is the value estimated to be incurred on the professional fees for the required solicitors during the contract period as per the Tender

The objective of the procurement is to successfully procure suitably qualified competent professional services teams to provide asbestos surveys and analytical support which will
ensure the NIHE meets its landlord obligations to manage asbestos. The Housing Executive wishes to procure suitably qualified and competent persons to provide asbestos surveys and provide analytical services to Housing Executive's properties across the whole of Northern Ireland. The properties are a combination of the following: -
