Distribution of Our North Tyneside Residents Magazine
North Tyneside Council is looking to appoint an experienced organisation to provide a service to distribute a free residents' magazine to every residential property within the Borough of North Tyneside. This will be three editions per year in spring, summer and winter.
The Contractor shall take delivery of 97,300 magazines on pallets from the organisation appointed by the Authority to print them, and distribute a copy to every residential property in the Borough, including residential homes, flats, sheltered and multiple accommodations. Full distribution shall be completed within ten working days of receiving delivery of the magazines.

The Contractor shall be required to print 98,500 magazines and deliver 97,300 copies to an organisation which the Authority has appointed to carry out its distribution; and the remaining 1,200 copies to the Authority's Quadrant headquarters. All copies of the magazines shall be delivered within seven days of receipt of the artwork from the Authority. Please note there are restrictions on the size of vehicles that can access the council offices site. Vehicles of class 1 HGV (Articulated Lorries) size and above are unable to access the site.

North Tyneside Council require stage and cover services for the Mouth of Tyne Festival 2026.
The Mouth of the Tyne Festival, an annual live music event, is taking place on Thursday 9th July, Friday 10th July, Saturday 11th July and Sunday 12th July 2026 in Tynemouth, near Newcastle upon Tyne.
The successful Contractor will be required to deliver stage and cover services for this event in accordance with the specification attached at Tynemouth Priory and Castle.

The Government has announced a set of 'Simpler Recycling' waste reforms which includes the mandatory weekly collection of food waste commencing from March 2026.
The separate collection of food waste requires the Council to provide all residents with an internal and external caddy or bin for the storage and collection of their food waste.
Market intelligence has advised the earlier Council's go out to procure containers for the collection of food waste the better price per unit and delivery can be secured.
What we require
Costs to supply caddies / bins and deliver to one single point:
• 65,000 and 108,000 - 5 litre internal caddies - grey base and lid.
• 65,000 and 108,000 - 23 litre external caddies with a grey base and purple lid.
• 2000 - 140l, 180l and 240 litre wheeled bin containers with a grey base and purple lid.
Costs to supply caddies / bins and deliver to all residents (maps to be provided by the Council):

This service will deliver holistic, trauma-informed support for victims and survivors of domestic abuse - including both adults and children - regardless of protected characteristics, gender, or level of risk.
The model will combine therapeutic and practical interventions that promote recovery, safety, empowerment, and long-term resilience. As part of our ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality, trauma-informed support to those affected by domestic abuse, North Tyneside Council is commissioning two separate contracts:
Lot 1 - Domestic Abuse Support Service, Value £630,000 per annum:
This contract will deliver an integrated model of community-based and accommodation-based support for adult victims and survivors of domestic abuse, including refuge and dispersed accommodation, IDVA support, outreach, behaviour change programmes, and adult counselling.

Contract 1 - Framework for Heating Installations Programmed Works - 2025-2027
Award of Contract 1 - Framework for Heating Installations Programmed Works - 2025-2027. This Framework Contract will ensure availability of skilled Contractors to deliver the Planned and Programmed Service requiring differing values and complexities as required for the Framework Contract. The Framework is initially for 2 years with an option, at the sole discretion of the Authority, to extend for up to a further 2 x 12 months.
The main areas of activity may comprise of, but not exclusively be limited to new installations which shall be a gas fired combination condensing type boiler as specified including all electrical work, builders work, and work for all other trades necessary for completing the contract.
3 Contractors will be appointed to the Framework. The highest ranked Bidder will be offered the first ranked Contractor as a Direct Award. Further phases of works, will be decided by an annual refresh using a mini competition which will be undertaken with the 3 contractors on the framework via the OPEN portal.
The successfully awarded Contractors will be required to work together with North Tyneside Council (the Authority) to drive improvements and support the aims and ambitions of the Contract.
