North Tyneside Council are developing a scheme for the replacement of a tidal causeway within the borough. The works entail the demolition of an existing causeway and the construction of new, within the same footprint. Following consultant engagement in developing a feasibility report the Authority now wishes to undertake some early market engagement to understand the commercial requirements of a future competitive tender. The Authority is considering the potential opportunities presented by delivering this project on a design and build basis. The Authority intends to tender this within Q3 2026 with an appointment in early Q4 2026. Indicative start on site in Q2 of 2027. North Tyneside Council - Outdoor Advertising Opportunities North Tyneside Council is undertaking early market engagement to shape the upcoming procurement of an experienced provider (or providers) to manage and commercially operate large format advertising sites across four outdoor locations in the Borough. This includes: • Installation of advertising infrastructure (where not already in place) • Ongoing maintenance and safety compliance • Sale of advertising space • Revenue generation for the Council through fixed fee, revenue-share, or hybrid commercial models All sites are located on Council-owned land or assets and hold full advertising consent. The Council welcomes interest from suppliers wishing to manage a single site, multiple sites, or the entire portfolio. No preference has been set at this stage, and the Council may appoint one or more providers based on the quality and commercial value of responses. The sites are as follows: • North Shields Transport Hub (Digital Screen - Installed): A digital screen is already installed in a high-footfall area adjacent to the new Transport Hub. Proposals should include scope for Council messaging during pre-agreed events or campaigns, equating to approximately 40 hours of screen time per year. • Bewick Street, Wallsend: Site suitable for billboard installation (digital or non-digital). • High Flatworth, North Shields: Site suitable for billboard installation. • Coast Road, Wallsend: High-traffic roadside location with digital advertising consent already secured. North Tyneside Council (the "Authority") is seeking to appoint a supplier for the safe, compliant and efficient management of its Waste Disposal Contract (the "Contract") in line with the Authority's objectives as set out in the North Tyneside Plan. The existing contract, which expires on 31 March 2027, currently covers the: transfer and treatment/disposal of all residual waste; management and operation of the Authority's waste transfer station; management and operation of the Authority's household waste recycling centre, including transfer and treatment of all materials; and transfer and treatment of kerbside and collected garden waste. While it is anticipated that the specification under the Contract will remain broadly similar, the Authority will seek to deliver wider objectives across key service areas through this procurement. These factors, which may form part of the final decision-making process, include: Sustainability & Carbon Net Zero; Value for money; Social Value; Collaboration; Flexibility; Continuous improvement - evolving asset management; Resilience; and Innovation. Provision of Carers Support for unpaid carers who live in North Tyneside - £985,980

This is a combined contract for Rough Sleeping Services running across both North Tyneside and Northumberland. The contract is for the continuation of the Homelessness Response Service and Somewhere Safe to Stay (SSTS) provision, both of which play a vital role in our rough sleeper pathways. £150K Approx.

The authority is seeking premarket engagement questionnaire for this process. North Tyneside Council is intending to re-tender its domestic minor works framework and is reviewing the set up and allocation of work under the proposed framework. The framework is intended to start from April 2026 and be for a period of 4 years. The estimated value is approximately £400,000 per annum, or £1,600,000 across the full framework if all extensions are utilised.
