The provider will offer Yoga Therapy Services for HMP Wormwood Scrubs, including patients on the inpatient unit and residents on ordinary location. The purpose of the appointment is to provide a valuation for inclusion in the Trusts financial statements prepared under the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in accordance with Government guidelines as set out in the Government Financial Reporting Manual (FREM).
North London NHS Foundation Trust requires weekly music making sessions for a mental health unit at HMP Wormwood Scrubs. The purpose of these sessions is to help to build self-confidence, improve communication skills, develop patience and motivation as well as building on a sense of positivity within oneself. The user will make friends within the sessions building on social skills whilst working together creatively to develop a technical musical skill. Through these sessions, the user will be able to process and develop emotions better, they will build stronger communication and team working skills.
Music therapy - HMP Pentonville and HMP Wormwood Scrubs
NLFT require a musician in residence to attend HMP Pentonville and HMP Wormwood Scrubs in person for 2 full days per week / 4 sessions per site to provide music sessions that focus on but not limited to:
• Live music
• Instrument learning
• Music appreciation
• Song writing and performance
NLFT require a musician in residence to attend HMP Brixton in person for 1 full days per week / 2 sessions per site to provide music sessions that focus on but not limited to:
• Live music
• Instrument learning
• Music appreciation
• Song writing and performance
The chosen supplier must showcase they are successful in engaging and increasing the motivation of hard-to-reach individuals including those accessing mental health/substance misuse services and those who don't engage effectively with the more traditional educational activities.
