North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust, East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust and University Hospitals Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust wish to collaborate with a view to providing Cumbria and Lancashire with an integrated containment product provision from age 5 through to adulthood. The scope is to contract a Home Delivery Containment Product Service for service users in their homes, residential care homes, nursing homes and hospitals. The Authorities therefore wish to implement a contract for the complete home delivery service of continence products to patients in their own homes, in residential homes and in nursing homes as well as the provision of a delivery service directly to wards/departments within Acute and Community Hospitals, as well as Mental Health Units.

North Cumbria Integrated Care wish to enter contract with a suitably qualified provider for the provision of cash delivery and collection services to premises, and cash collection from parking machines. The selected provider will be expected to provide all 3 elements of the service, with collections occurring on a weekly basis. The provider's employees are expected to hold relevant licences, such as an SIA Licence in order to conduct the service.

Via the use of an open tender procedure, North Cumbria Integrated Care wish to enter contract with a suitably qualified provider(s) for the provision of Food to Go items.

Via the use of an open tender procedure, North Cumbria Integrated Care wish to enter contract with a suitably qualified provider(s) for the provision of cafe services at the Cancer Care Centre. The selected provider will be expected to run the cafe in terms of making and serving food and drinks and supplying provisions to sell in the cafe. The supplier will provide their own staff to manage this service.

North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust, requires a provider for a Taxi Service at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle and West Cumberland Hospital, Whitehaven. The opportunity will be split into lots and the Tenderer can apply for one or both lots. North Cumbria University Hospitals NHS Trust wishes to contract with a suitably experienced provider of Taxi Services for an initial period of 36 MONTHS, on a fixed price contract, with an option to extend the contract for up to an additional period of up to 12 months subject to continuing demand and/or satisfactory performance. Subject to activity and demand, there may also be a requirement to carry out ad-hoc discharges or transfers subject to authorisation from the appropriate Trust personnel. The provider will be required to provide a service as outlined in the specification, daily, every day during the contract period (weekends and Bank Holidays included), and the service provided must be promptly executed. Taxis must be available day and night to provide the service to the Trust as required. Taxis are booked for essential Trust business only, and some bookings will involve work, which is essential to the well-being and lives of the patients. Consequently, taxis must not be re-directed by the contractor for any reason whatsoever. Owning to the nature of the contract, in that future demand cannot be reasonably ascertained, North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust will not guarantee or commit to an agreed workload with any supplier(s) selected to provide this service.
