North Ayrshire Council (“NAC”) invites tenders for the servicing and repairs of ASN equipment in non-housing properties within the NAC area, including the Islands of Arran and Cumbrae. This includes but is not limited to mobile/tracking hoists, medical beds and changing tables.

The upgrading of the B714 has been approved as part of a successful North Ayrshire Council (NAC) joint funding bid to the UK Government Funding. The B714 links the Trunk Road network from the A78 Sharphill Roundabout (Three Towns Bypass) to the A737, south of Dalry. NAC have been engaging with the Uk Government Department for Transport (DfT) regarding aspects of the Outline Business Case (OBC).

This procurement exercise seeks to appoint suitably qualified service providers to Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) services at North Ayrshire Council (“NAC”) Properties. The properties included will be a mixture of corporate buildings, schools and HSCP facilities.
North Ayrshire Council seeks to appoint a suitably qualified manufacturer or supplier to supply UPVC windows for project and maintenance works. Supply of these materials will ensure Building Services can carry out the renewal and upgrade of housing properties within North Ayrshire Council. The materials required will be estimated based on works forecasts.
North Ayrshire Council, East Ayrshire Council and South Ayrshire Council (the collaborative partners) require the provision of first aid training from a suitably experienced and certified training organisation. Attendees at the first aid training sessions may consist of any combination of staff from the collaborative partners.
North Ayrshire Council (NAC) requires a replacement contract for the annual maintenance, servicing and repairs of public space surveillance camera system. This will include all recording equipment and cameras within Marress House, Friars Croft, Irvine, KA12 8LU. The requirement will also include attendance at emergency call outs as and when required. All of which will be contained within one lot. There is a requirement for an additional lot for technical surveys on NAC’s held asset list.

The resultant contract for Lot 1 will be for an initial period of 2 year commencing 7 July 2025 until 6 July 2027 with the option to extend by up to 24 months until 6 July 2029. As Lot 2 is a one-off requirement this will be in place for a six-month period from 7 July 2025 to 7 December 2025.
The requirement of this contract is to provide a specialist accommodation and housing support service to women who are experiencing, or are at risk of, violence. Women approach the service predominately seeking refuge/and or housing support, however, women are also offered advisory and emotional support where required. The service provides a range of accommodation throughout North Ayrshire. There is additional support provided across all tenures where women are at risk of violence.
North Ayrshire Council seek to appoint a suitably qualified provider who can deliver bow top fencing materials to North Ayrshire Council's Building Services department.
The contract will be for a period of 2 years with the option to extend for up to a further 24 months.

Working for a Healthy Economy (WfHE) is a large-scale investment in an occupational health service to ensure that Ayrshire has the requisite workforce to drive economic growth in the future. This project will serve to widen the labour pool and provide the basis for the
maximisation of benefits arising from Ayrshire Growth Deal capital investments. Funded by the Ayrshire Growth Deal, WfHE will support:
- unemployed residents overcome health barriers to economic activity
- employed residents to retain employment by addressing health barriers
- local businesses to access health related supports to improve retention and productivity of their workforce.
The current contract expires in June 2024, therefore NAC are seeking bids for the a new contract which is anticipated to commence in July 2024. The contract period will be 2 years and 9 months, with the option to extend for up to a further 24 months.

North Ayrshire Council (“NAC”) invites tenders for the provision of a community support service.
NAC currently have a flexible framework in place for this requirement which allows NAC to re-open the framework to new providers therefore, the framework is being re-opened, as detailed in the original Contract Notice. There is no limit to the number of providers who may be awarded a place on the framework however, providers should note that there may not be a sufficient volume of business to support a large number of new providers and there is no guarantee of business even if awarded a place on the framework.
The estimated spend under the framework over the remaining 2 years is 28,039,950.00 GBP however, this figure includes services already commissioned during the initial 4 year period that will continue over the next 2 years and therefore, this figure is not representative of new business opportunities available over the remaining 2 year period.
The resultant framework will be for a period of 2 years commencing 5th January 2024 until 5th January 2026.
The framework delivers Adult Community Support Services across Learning Disability, Physical Disability and Mental Health client groups.
The scope of the framework encompasses services currently referred to as Community Support, 24 Hour Support, Housing Support and Supported Living Services. It does not include care at home provision.
Services are delivered in a community setting, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year, inclusive of sleepovers and waking nights, to adults aged 16 and over who have been assessed by North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership as requiring a service.

The masterplan consultant will act as the lead of the design team.

- Safeguard people who can be treated unfairly as a result of institutional and systemic barriers as well as prejudice and individual, social, and environmental circumstances that make them vulnerable
- Empower people who need a voice or stronger voice by enabling them to express their own needs and make their own decisions
- Enable people to gain access to information, explore and understand their options, and to make their views and wishes known
- Speak up on behalf of people who are unable to do so for themselves.
The locations at which the Independent advocacy will be delivered will include: the Provider’s own premises; the Service Users preferred location; the Service Users home, hospital or care home or other residential setting.
The contract will start on 01/04/2024 to 31/03/2027 with an option to extend for 24 months.

North Ayrshire Council is seeking to procure a single supplier to provide a schoolwork experience & employer engagement programme. The current contract ended on 30/06/2023. The new contract is anticipated to start on 01/10/2023 for a period of one year with up to thirty-six month extension available until 30/09/2027.

NAC require a Lead Designer with a multidisciplinary consultancy service for the design and administration of civil works in relation to the public realm improvements along Irvine Harbourside, known as the Maritime Mile. The service will cover RIBA stages 2-4 from Outline Concept onwards, and also includes roles of a Principal Designer and Contract Administrator for construction works as stated in the Construction Design and Management (CDM) 2015 regulations. The Council is seeking a team that’s experienced in delivering high quality public streets and spaces with appropriate design qualifications.
The total budget for the capital works is estimated at 6m GBP.

North Ayrshire Health & Social Care Partnership (NAHSCP) are seeking a dynamic and creative organisation to help build and deliver key advice, information, and support for young and adult unpaid carers in all North Ayrshire localities (Irvine & Kilwinning, Three Towns, Garnock Valley, North Coast and Millport, and the Isle of Arran).
The provision of information and support to unpaid carers is a legislative requirement for the Health & Social Care Partnership. The Carers (Scotland) Act 2016 places statutory duties on the Local Authority & NHS Board. The Act gives carers new rights, promotes early information, involvement, and prevention as pivotal to support, and seeks to improve the wellbeing of unpaid carers. The Local Authority, with support, will take steps to involve, inform and support carers to make caring more sustainable for those who are willing and able to do so.
The current contract is due to expire on 30/06/23 therefore this requirement is being retendered.
North Ayrshire Council has a requirement for a suitably qualified contractor to force access to various council properties. The services required will typically include attending properties with Council officers (or representatives – Engineers, Surveyors and Contractors) and gaining access through non-destructive means.
NAC and The North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership wish to work in partnership with providers to deliver a high-quality care and support service within two Supported Accommodation Housing sites in North Ayrshire. Both sites are owned by North Ayrshire Council.
The Supported Accommodation Housing sites within the scope of this service are: -
-Lot 1: Bessie Dunlop Court, Dalry (15 units: 12 x 1 bed & 3x 2 bed plus staff base)
-Lot 2: Castlecraigs Court, Glasgow Street, Ardrossan (13 units: 13x1 bed plus staff base)
The supported accommodation service is for adults aged 18 years and over with either a Learning Disability, Physical or Sensory Disability, or Mental Health difficulty. The service provides vulnerable people with access to on-site 24/7 personal and social care support, community health and housing support services.
The scope of the service will encompass support to manage and maintain a tenancy providing personalised supports to individuals; and to achieve individual outcomes aligned to personal support plans.
Support will include:-

-Housing Support
-Other practical support required to maintain their tenancy
The contract will be let on The North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership Standard Terms and Conditions.
The total budget for this requirement will be 15,296,039.20 GBP. The contract will be in place for a total of 10 years, initially for a 4-year period, with an option to extend by 72 months.
The applicable regulations will be The Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015 Light touch regime for services.
Modification to the existing contract to accommodate system developments and additional storage costs required throughout the duration of the contract.
