The purpose of the Inpatient Assessment and Treatment service is to provide comprehensive, intensive, and responsive inpatient assessment and treatment for adults with a learning disability who have challenging behaviour and/or mental health needs within the least restrictive environment possible. <br/>The service aims to assist Service Users in their recovery by involving them in all aspects of their care and treatment in a format that they can understand and to return them to the community as quickly as possible. The service will plan and administer booking arrangements for patients. The service will be flexible and responsive, adapting to the individual need in terms of their circumstances, e.g., learning difficulties, culture, ethnicity, language, and disability.<br/><br/>Providers willing to express an interest will be required to respond to a series of questions which are scored on a "Pass/Fail’ basis.
